I've recruited and am ready to advance. Recruiting flies by when you only have three scholarships left.
FYI, there is offseason recruiting as well. There will be new recruits that sometimes have interest in your program. I normally leave a few open for any offseason blue chips, just in case. You may have already known that.

Yeah, I did know that. I have three more spots and three more targets left in-season, but I only lead for one of them at this point. I do want to have a few leftover spots for the offseason, but I also couldn't afford to save too many since I have 19 seniors graduating and a handful of guys with ratings of 54 or lower in my 2-deep at LB (and my team runs a 3-4). I have to collect as many players as I can.

Well, that was one weird game. It's not often you only complete two passes and don't get an offensive TD until the 3rd quarter and still win going away.

I got a fumble return for a TD, an interception return for a TD and a kickoff return for a TD - all in the first half to stake myself to a lead. I couldn't stop Miami for shit because my safeties were constantly out of position, and Miami was breaking an absurd amount of tackles. Oddly enough, my first offensive TD came on one of my two completed passes - it went for 84 yards on third an long - I was able to hit a receiver on a post when they brought the house.

I don't know what was up with my QB. I had a couple drops early, and then after that (except the TD) he couldn't hit a fucking barn. He is the backup (hopefully my starter will be available for the bowl, but he's really not that much better.

Anyway, ACC Champions (and I didn't lose to James Madison in the process! :tongue2:)

Gonna have a restart, was playing the game during my lunch break and I had to go pick up my kid from preschool due to sickness. Was playing a wildly fun game too. Was up 27-24 in the early 3rd quarter. I gave up 24 straight points to Bama in the 1st/2nd quarter in a very short amount of time. 21 of them on turnovers returned for TDs. They had a 98 yard returned fumble and then an INT return on the next offensive play. One where they juked and then spinned 2 of my players into the ground. I then scored 27 straight and was driving to put the game away. Their offense couldn't do anything, it was their damn ninja defense.

Oh well, I'll probably lose the restart...

Put the kid to sleep, played the restart, the scoring summary tells almost exactly the same story I told above. Just happened in a totally different way.

Bama scores 24 straight points again in the first half (actually first quarter) to make it 24-7. This time it wasn't turnovers, it was Richardson (99 rated RB) barrelling over my defenders on 3 runs of 80, 96. Dude had 200 yards rushing in the first quarter. In the last game through 2 1/2 quarters he had about 60. Richardson tacked on another 78 yarder in the 3rd and had 324 yards rushing on the day. Btw, they have Ingram as his backup, aslo rated 99.

I thought I was going to lose almost through 3 quarters until I had an INT deep in their zone and drove the ball to go ahead starting the 4th quarter 35-31. Bama had a bad 4th quarter by giving up an easy TD drive and threw an INT - TD to put the game out of reach.

btw, its' really gay how highly rated Bama is compared to every other team in the game. It's absurd.
