Hey, Olaf and I have a 4 star RB interested in us (he's #1 on his list, I'm 2).

#206 player overall:
"Speed" Runningback:
5'11" 213 lbs
B speed
B+ agil
B- accel
the only rushing skill rated above a C+ is juke, which is B.

Does he really constitute as a "speed" RB?

Yeah, I saw that, too. Speed backs without speed suck.

Is it just me or do all the RBs in this class suck ass?

I do have a 5 star RB interested (but not likely to land). Here are his measurables:

6'5" 231 lbs. - ok he's huge, that's a plus.

B- speed, suck.
D+ Agility, really suck
A Accel (ok, that's good).

So you think his RB skills have to be top notch.... No.

B+ Trucking
B+ Stiff Arm
B- Break tackle
Everything else is worse. D Elusiveness, D-Spin. No he can't catch either.

The only thing this dude could do is run up the middle for 4 yards. Is he really worthy of the #9 overall spot?

I'm honestly having a hard time finding any RBs with decent speed. The ones that do have a C range accel.

Oh it gets better.

I also have another 4 star interested. A "Power" RB, here's his stats:
#173 overall
5'10" 175 lbs ("POWER!")
B Speed
B- Agil
C+ Accel
C Break Tackle
D- Trucking
C- Stiff arm.

Okay is Tom Lemming doing this rankings? wtf in this guy's list makes him a power back?

So far I'm very underwhelmed with these recruits and I do have some "quality" stars looking at me, the measurables just don't add up to that.

I am in a dynasty with a few friends, i've notice that since the recruiting "fix" the "top" RBs and WRs have been rather shitty

appears my ps3 didnt like the switch to the new house. seems like a disk reading error as none of my games r working

[censored]!!!

sounds like the same thing that happened to my last PS3, I was told the laser thingy that reads the discs was broke

Sony refused to fix it though because I did not have the fucking receipt from when I bought it.

The big question is whether I was stupid enough to pay for the Best Buy protection plan. But then again, I bought it like 4-5 years ago so me thinks any warranty would be over

Piney, if push comes to shove, you might be able to transfer commish duties through the website.

Yeah, I am afraid that is something I will have to do. Just crappy timing too as I was stuck at home today watching my 2 year old without TV and my computer still at the in-laws. (I'm on the wife's laptop right now) I was so planing on getting us to Week 1 last night and such.

Hopefully transfering the dynasty via the internet won't blow anything up.

So if anyone is willing to take over commish duties apply within

FYI - This couldn't have come at a greater time. Just realized I have to get a new washer/dryer at the new house and funds are being sapped up by the money pit. IF I have to buy a new PS3, it might take awhile :(

Damn, mine did that about 6 months ago, wouldn't play games but would do anything else. Ended up being that laser eye on the BD drive. It was going to be $150 for the guy at my local store to fix it, but I sold it on craigslist for $120 and bought a brand new slim.

Good luck man...

I'll take over if you want me to

Will transfer the commish duties to you tonight, might not be til 9-10pm as I now have to buy a new washer/dryer (there goes my new PS3 money :sob:)

But I will try one last time tonight to get things to work on my end. I got one last thing I can try, which is to clean the laser head. Last ditch hail mary to save me. If not... I will transfer the dynasty via the website.

Hopefully it doesn't bomb everything.

I don't know if you can. I just thought it might be possible. It looks like starting over may be the only option.

You would think it would be possible. I tried to do a quick check on the EA forums and such and found out it will take a while to hunt through all that crap to find it.

The only other thing I could think of is maybe I can't do a switch during the pre-season. So maybe I can set everything up via the web and Advance to Week 1 and then the option to switch commish might pop up?

The pre-season thing might be true, because I'm almost positive that you can transfer commish duties via the website...almost positive.

THEWOOD's suggestion will also work. Saving the OD file of BadTeams (with Olaf as commish), then loading that OD file with me as commish is how I got the Take2 dynasty up and running. Some of the users will already be loaded, and some of them will have to be re-invited, but other than that, it's much less painful than having to start over, and move everybody to their new conferences.
