Ya Hunter would have been nice, but in my offline dynasty thats now into like 2013 or whatever, DJ McFadden actually turned out to be quite a badass for me, breaking and setting all my passing records. Also that Jerry Green kid I did end up picking up after Hunter accepted your cars, cash, and women has like 84 speed or whatever, so he could be a nice change of pace QB for me in bigger games. We'll see...

I'm going to be out of town Monday Jan. 5 until late afternoon of Friday Jan. 9. I'm going to try to get set up at the hotel, but I'm not optimistic. So if Piney could go ahead and not advance me through my game at Alabama and/or Army I would greatly appreciate it. There's no way that UK beats 'bama on the road w/out me. There's also no way that they beat Smooth Olaf and Army w/out me either.

Piney, I agree. Don't advance. I'll bite the bullet and play a CPU Kentucky. I don't mind.

That was me and fanatic and ya neither defense showed up, except for fanatics on one possession, which seemingly was the difference. Fanatic forced me to punt on a 4th and 7 (wish I would have just gone for it now) midway through the 2nd quarter, but other than that we scored on every possession we had.

Here's some interesting stats:

East Carolina
DJ McFadden 28/39 for 490 yards 7 TD's 0 INT's
Dwayne Harris 8 catches for 136 yards 4 TD's
Norman Whitley 4 catches for 113 yards 1 TD
Marquan Brown 8 kick returns for 281 yards 1 TD (also broke Piney's old record for longest return of 102. The record is now 103!! :biggrin:)

BYU
Shawn Gaither 16/16 338 yards 3 TD's 0 INT's
John Ernst 16 rushes for 225 yards 4 TD's
Harvey Unga 5 catches for 102 yards

Literally, had fanatic not gotten me to punt on that one possession we probably would have played like 17 overtimes... no joke. Damn, and I knew my QB would be good this season, but shit does my defense still suck!!

Seriously msj... where did that offense come from? Does SMU have to worry about becoming 3-time CUSA champs? And how I played my game against Texas Tech... SMU might have something to worry about.

I got so use to a crappy QB I didn't know what to do with a good one. I overthrew about 6-7 wide open deep WRs. When you are use to sub 80 THA you get use to a certain way to pass, then when your guy is a 91 THA you don't have to overcompensate for their shitty throwing.

Then two tipped Ints and then basebuck messaging me in the middle of a pass play and the pop up box covering the area that I was looking to throw. So of course I panic and throw to my 2nd option blindly not realizing he was double covered.

DAMN YOU BASEBUCK!

But yeah, something has to be wrong with the sliders as I was able to run and that was just wrong. (One reason it took me awhile to advance after I played my game)

So I set the penalty sliders close to what they were last season (that's what I get for doing something stupid) and put WR catch back to 10.

Oh yeah... we did advance last night (around 11pm)

And buchtel... I am ready to get intercepted a dozen times whenever you are ready. So let me know when you can or can't play.

Had to find this little snippet for Wood's sake. You know that DT that I am paying very well? He is really appreciative of the money I am giving him. He had 4 sacks in his first game :biggrin:

I received a PM while recruiting a few days ago. The pop up box covers the mood-face and timer. Needless to say, my recruit was PISSED at my multitasking.

I played my week 2 game last night and I ran for like 400 yards on 16 carries and 7 touchdowns. Was this after the sliders were adjusted? It was against a mid 80's Arkansas team. There are however a number of drops that haven't been there in previous years. You could tell the penalty sliders were adjusted as I got face masked twice and fumbled.

I've decided to bench my 3 year starter at QB, Jerrod Johnson. I will now be starting a Sophmore QB that is a little more accurate. I'm tired of my receivers running a corner route while my QB throws a post. That has been my one recruiting weakness. I haven't been able to grab a QB to match my style. Hopefully I can rectify that this year as I am in on 4 good ones.
