Now comes the question... who has made their team in team builder??? For those that have, how screwed up are your defensive ratings? Seems like that is where the big issues are. (along with position restrictions and slots)

With NCAA10 coming out next week, we really do need to decide if we are just going to start fresh.

FYI - We most likely won't start the dynasty for a week or so. Due to the incorrect rosters in the game already, the guys that edit rosters can't start til Monday (when EA will release the correct rosters in their EA Locker for everyone to download).

I vote for allowing the teams that are done to be able to keep their teams, but for those that have not choose a team sub 79; or whatever the number was. I think that would punish us that haven't uploaded the team, I will not have time to do it.

My only request is that I get to change the uniforms.

I finished creating my team. After inputing each and every single rating I think that these ratings are much better. They just seem to make more sense. I will have to change some players around on the depth chart. My defense may not be as good as I thought, but it will not be bad. My offense should still be very good.

Iron, anyway you can look up the overall ratings of my team?

Damn... nice team Wood.

So the plan will be if you want to carry your team over you have to do it on your own. So let me know if you did your team so I can mark it down.

I will send out a PM later today to make sure if everyone who said they were in will be getting the game and to confirm whether they are cool with a new team or they really want to their old team.

Then we will have to decide on the pool of teams that people can pick from and then the draft order for guys that want new teams. I am thinking maybe a little higher than 79 rated teams, maybe depending on prestige rating too.

That's the team that he did. I didn't create it for him...just downloaded it from his teambuilder, plugged it into a dynasty, re-ordered the roster, and advanced to preseason polls to check it out.

I have decided to look to finish my team and my 94+ rated DE's are now in the 60's. My WR's all went up, OL similar. Havent got to DT, LB or DB's yet. Will see.

edit: I'm being lazy, what do I do with the extra players that TB has already there? I'm just leaving them unnamed so they are easy to pick out and cut. Is that right?

Any extra players I just named EXTRA EXTRA.

My top rated player in 09 is a DE. He was like 97 or something. But he was a converted HB. I put him into the teambuilder and he came back 67 or so, because he lacks any true stellar defensive ratings. But it makes sense, a guy whose tackling rating is only in the 60s or whatever should not be rated 97 as a DE. Also noticed that the DBs are all very dependent on their man, zone and press ratings.

One rating I have no idea what it does is release. It seems to be a thing that gauges how much a WR can get away from a DB, but I did not see it really effect anyone.


Thanks for getting the ratings Iron. Like I said I knew my Offense would be good. My QB is 97, HB 92 with a couple others high 80s, WRs in the 90s and my OLine is just a monster. I think I have 2-3 guys who are rated 99.

How many extra players do you have? (Another reason why I am not liking recreating teams in TB)

I really hope they do something for those that want to continue online dynasties next year (ie making TB easier or a way to load previous version of online dynaties)

Short a few OL heavy a few DE and CB
