FYI - Plan on advancing tonight after basebuck gets his bowl game in. So if basebuck is around and can let us know when that would be, then Iron & buchtel can start planning when to play the championship game.


Also I had one of those games... I was in the zone! My QB shredded multiple records with 700+ yards passing & 10 TDs. (Looking back on it, so pissed I let my RB score 2 early TDs) Heck, he had 500 Yards passing in the 1st half :biggrin: Yes I could have put my backups in, but dang it... might as well set an unbreakable record when we switch to tougher sliders for next season :wink2:

Yeah, I don't understand that. Isn't FSU an unranked 94 OVR team in year 1? It's like in every version of NCAA Football too. They're always rated much higher than their preseason ranking, and they are the ultimate in superman linebacker plays. Add the bowl game bump that the CPU gets, and you get a stupid combination of INTs and broken tackles.

I didn't think they let 3rd party people watch an online game. How did you get to see it?

Eh I don't think anybody would have been able to win with that OU team, man they were awful... reminiscent of the last time they played a CUSA team in the GMAC :wink2:

It was discussed earlier, but is it possible, once you take the game offline, to accept invites to other conferences, then come back with the changes intact? If so, I'll stick with Army if the MAC invites me. They did when I took it offline last. It would be kind of cool to see if I could eventually get an invite to a BCS Conference.

Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to do that. Cuz the invites happen as you advance to the offseason. So to do that offline I would have to sim the National Championship game. Me thinks at least two people would not want that to happen.

And before you think it, no I would not be able to take it offline after the play and before I advance. Cuz the game wouldn't save.

How much difference is there in recruiting rankings when you lose the NCG vs winning? For kicks and giggles the game has a 50/50 chance of picking the winner of IBI and buchtel anyways; so say the play their game and report the results to you and we acknowledge their results no matter what the game says. We could then do conference changes.

Just a thought. Am I missing more?

Or they play, but not in the league. They tell Piney who won, and Piney takes it offline. When he sims, if the wrong team wins, just sim again until the right team wins.
