That's true. It's happening to all of us.

Two of your top three recruits are transferring for the second year in a row?

Iron, I think the difference is for Smooth is the guys leaving are his only top 2-3 recruits. And those 2-3 recruits are his best players on the whole team.

Whereas you grab around 10 recruits as good/better than those 2-3 for Army. So at least if they do leave, you can replace them easier.

I would have that same issue at SMU. For example if my QB were to want to transfer after his freshman year (which he started from day 1) I WOULD BE SCREWED. Or if my only fast RB/WR transfers... it really hurts my team.

I think the bigger reason Smooth is looking to switch teams is to get better recruiting attributes so if he gets hit with transfers they are easier to replace if he can't sway them back.

Or at least that is how I look at it.

I got it. It doesn't change BN27's statement that it will happen to his new team too. I get that Olaf is already handicapped with Army's situation, and that losing players hurts more there, and I'm all for him changing teams. Talking about it being the reason to move, when it's going to happen again regardless of where he goes, and that he has the opportunity to talk them into staying is where I decided to run my mouth and agree with BN27.

As for me, or anyone else, being able to replace them easier. Sure, if I'm not interested in making a title run. If I don't care about depth while playing in a BCS conference, on what will eventually be pretty difficult slders, you're right. It's very easy for me to absorb ridiculous losses to young starters that I never got a chance to develop. Luckily, we'll be taking this thing offline so everyone has the opportunity to stop the bleeding. Or at least slow it down.

Huh? Motley's a true freshman, and he's one of the freshmen transferring to Navy.
Ah damnit, I thought it was my WR who transferred out last year as a freshman, Mike Motley, but then again I must have forgot that transfers have to sit out a year when I typed that first response... :smash:

5 INTs, I probably dropped 10 INTs.
FSU apparently has the fastest FB in football.
They scored a TD while trying to kill the clock....I was in a 5-2 and I blitzed everybody up the middle....they ran it up the middle untouched.

they really shouldn't have made wireless remotes. it's sooooooooooooooo tempting to put one through the dry wall.
