Piney, I simmed it again and this time SMU was invited to the Big 12. I'm sure ECU would like you to get the hell out of C-USA, but that would be 4 teams in the Big 12...hogwash. BYU is the other team that normally gets the invite as well. If they were in a BCS conference, it would be a UK vs BYU NCG

Yeah, I actually did one where ECU replaced Vandy, Army got into the MAC and BYU replaced Baylor. (and another where SMU replaced Baylor)

Just so random at times.

I call serious cheesing in the championship game. Complete bull[censored], might have ruined this league for me. I quit playing in the 4th.

Time of possession 18 min to 6? Yeah that makes sense

how was it cheese?

I knew I couldnt stop you so I milked the clock

its not like I was just lineing up and running out of goalline either, I was running out of I-Form Strong and Weak sets......

Final was 35-21 Colorado

TOP was 17:47 to 6:17 in favor of me

I was 6-6 on 3rd down conversions
4-4 in the red zone
had zero turnovers (to his 1)

I ran the ball 50 times for 286 yards and 5 tds, these running plays came out if I-Form, Strong and Weak sets, the only time I ran goalline was when I was inside the 5 going in to score
D.Scott 33 rushes 245 yards (6.8 average) 4 tds
R.Polk 9 rushes 37 yards (4.1 average)
D.Wilson 4 rushes 14 yards (3.5 average)
D.Sumler 2 rushes 11 yards (5.5 average)
C.Hawkins 2 rushes -1 yards (-0.5 average) TD

44/50 runs came from HBs
4/50 came from the FB
2/50 came from the QB

I just dont see how I cheesed....... I was just straight up running, no gimmick stuff, the most gimicky I got was a few handoffs to the fullback

My issue was not with running the ball as much even though it's unstoppable with a 90 plus back. My issue is with letting the clock run down to nothing after each play. it's boring as hell and it takes advantage of the 6 minute quarters. I had 5 offensive plays in the first half.
How boring would it be if everyone played that way and every game ended up being 10-7?

I just think its a shitty way to play

I knew from the first game we played that I wasnt going to be able to stop you or score with you, so I went for the clock management approach to this game

Is it cheesy? I dont think so, but maybe some people do, I guess we all have differing opinions on what cheese is

I was actually shocked it worked, I thought you would eventually start stuffing the run and force me to throw

If you are just running play clock down to 1 second the entite game., that's kindof boring, but not sure it is cheesing. But then again, you are also not playing the game "like we see on tv" (isn't that how you guys defined cheesing?).

I can see doing it at anytime in the second half, but not really sure about 1st and 2nd quarter. I don't think I have ever seen anyone on TV do that on purpose. However, doesn't mean it hasn't happen.

Here's my beef......

When is this f-ing game going to give TCU some RESPECT!

I always run the play down inside of 5 seconds and it's rarely part of my game plan. It usually just takes me that long to call my play, and read the defense and/or put someone in motion. I've probably been called for delay of game against human opponents a dozen times because of the lag of what I see on the play clock and what the time really is.

The first time UK and BYU played last year UK went into BYU and beat them by two touchdowns. fanatic made the adjustments for the Sugar Bowl and ran the hurry up. It wore my defense out. He made the adjustment, and he won the game. That's the reality of playing someone twice in a season. Of playing someone season after season. Constant adjustments.

I don't see any cheese here. JMHO.

It might be a 'shitty' way to play. But like how Iron said in his post, it was an adjustment by a team that really isn't close to cheesing in my book.

Also... I find it funny, 'unstoppable with a 90 plus back'. Is probable how he felt in your first game stopping your 99 speed WR and your fast HBs.

On to other matters... We advanced early this morning and we are on to Bowl Season!

HEISMAN AWARD WINNER:

Alex Williams, HB, Michigan State

The voters must have penalized Texas A&M's WR Jordan for losing in the Big XII Championship cuz in EVERY simulation I did it had him winning the award. So congrats Buchtel!!!

Now for the Bowls

Week 1:

Las Vegas Bowl - Oregon State vs TCU (so just whobe needs to play before we advance, so hurry the fuck up )

Week 2:

Liberty Bowl - Auburn vs SMU

GMAC Bowl - Ohio University vs East Carolina (stupid bowl projections going wrong... what happened to Army playing there?)

Armed Forces Bowl - San Diego State vs Army

Rose Bowl - USC vs Oklahoma State

Sugar Bowl - Wisconsin vs BYU

Cotton Bowl - LSU vs Texas A&M

Orange Bowl - Florida State vs South Florida

Fiesta Bowl - Clemson vs Colorado

Week 3:
