NCAA09 PS3 BP Online Dynasty

MSU - You had more early entrants to the NFL than anybody, at least 3 guys each test. But here are the transfers (once again only 1 guy transfered all 3 seasons) Bobo, CB, 67 then Williams, FS, 74 & Williams OLB, 80 & Houston LE, 71 & Larkins, HB, 84. So do I need to go offline to try to persuade these guys to come back for you?

I really don't need any of those guys. But every Sim I do, CB Johnny Adams leaves early, and he's important to my team....if you take it offline (which you don't have to) I'd like for you to go all out on him.

But the rest of those bums can go. Larkins was like the #1-2 RB last year, but with Downs coming in, he wasn't going to smell the field next year.

TAMU - 2-4 guys go to the NFL and the same 3 players transfering to Texas Tech (where are the guys going to SMU?) Harrington, RE, 77 & Gray, HB, 89 & Hall, TE, 71

I don't care about the transfers but I would like the chance to pursuade my guys to come back. I'm guessing it's my entire secondary

Cobb, nickleback, lots of INTs. If he's leaving for the NFL, then he's stupid, but it's a real situation. If he's transferring then fuck that midget. He got those INTs by being out of position and was burned a lot during the last half of the season.

I actually didn't write down who left early for the draft. Just a mental note of how many left. The guys I listed were all transfers. Now like I mentioned, unless noted these are just the names that poppped up over the 3 times I simulated the season.

I am leaning towards taking the dynasty offline. It only takes maybe 1-2 days depending on how quickly people respond to the post. And reading more about it, the only negative affects are TV Exposure and is that such a huge hit for that to be affected? And online owner records are erased, but then again I keep track of that in the first 2-3 posts of this thread.

When I found out about the TV Exposure thing there was also one other work-around that people found, but it didn't work 100% of the time. If everyone got into the dynasty during transfers at the same time, made their pitches, and stayed in the dynasty until after the commish advances through incoming transfers, some dynasties were able to make their players stay.

Like I said, this has not worked for everyone. It may not work for us, and would require Piney to save the dynasty offline at players leaving as a safety net. And it might be a bigger pain in the ass than just taking the thing offline. But at least it's another option.

Are we for sure moving to those sliders?

*sigh* with the amount of people complaining about them I have no clue anymore.

I am more tempted to just play with the All-American sliders more and just let people get crazy stats. Or just go funky and go to Varsity sliders  Seems like Iron was the only one that really even tried them out. And we all know Iron is crazy :wink2:

So once again with or without fanfare, here are two sets of Varsity sliders (this time I didn't adjust them at all, here are the raw ones) Basebuck, I really would like you to try them when you take our dynasty offline just to see how TAMU reacts to them.

Set #1
35/50
0/0
5/5
35/75
100/100

0/100
90/100

10/50

10/10
35/35
70/70
70/70

All Penalties set to 100

Set #2

Eh, keep them at Heisman. What's the big deal?
They're not on heisman now. We're currently set to all-american.

Unless those Varsity sliders are groundbreaking, and you don't plan on going with the ones we have in the B10/P10, then I'd suggest just leaving them the way they are.

Really... why did I have to fuck with the sliders last year? The last year we had great eveness to stats and stuff. Then I tinker with it and create a clusterfuck. I might have to dig through this thread to find the Year 2 sliders :wink2:

But we got about 2 weeks to figure this all out. And hopefully the guinea pig known as the B10/P10 Dynasty figures out the sliders

I'm playing with Set #1 of the Varsity sliders playing against UK in the NCG and I'm down 21-7 in the first....it's tougher, i'll keep you updated.

alrighty!!! I suggest you play 2 games on each set. Gives you a better feel of them cuz the first time you use them half the game is just adjusting to them.

28-28 Half. They haven't thrown an INT all game, R. Shelton is fast as shit, they've called like 6 penalties on me all game, R. Shelton is fast as a muthafucka, the QB touch is superb for the CPU. He can lob it or zip it, and he's putting the ball in the right spot. It isn't as tough as I initially thought, but it's closer than any other game I've played at half.

R. Shelton is a fast sum'bitch!!
