Not in the fourth quarter. :) buchtel was playing super aggressive defense, trying to come back, and whiffed on a bunch of tackles, but his QB got hot, and I couldn't stop him in the 4th. 38-17 to start the 4th, 48-17 two minutes in and then I couldn't stop him anymore. Luckily he kept having to go for the onside, and I had a short field to work with. buchtel won the 4th 21-20 and beat my ass in yardage gained in that quarter.Buckeneye;1402254; said:

I will try to advance us sometime this afternoon. Was at a poker tournament last night til 3am (so the woman isn't pleased at the moment since I told her I would be home at midnight)
So the plan is to advance to players leaving and at this time I will post who is leaving for who, with the intention to go offline to try to get the players to stay. When I post them I want to know how much time you want to use to keep him.
Example:
Army: G.I. Joe Transfering to Navy & GI Jane transfering to Air Force
Smooth: GI Joe - Max Time, GI Jane - 15 minutes
FYI - I have a family function around 4pm. So if it isn't advanced by then/ posted by then I won't be back til 7-8pm.

When I advanced past the National Title game there was another week there. So it seems like it is possible for me to take it offline now for potential conference changes and still keep the original championship results.
I know Smooth wants to join a conference. But the other potential move is ECU to the SEC (maybe the ACC?). (I won't let anyone else join the Big XII)
So mjs, would you be willing to move to the SEC (maybe the ACC) to avoid me beating you every year in the CUSA Championship game
And Fanatic... on the off chance you get invited to the PAC 10... what would you choose?

I think they're better now than they were at the beginning. However, one thing that gets me is the amount of pancake blocks the CPU's line seems to get on a regular basis. I just finished my game against Virginia Tech, and I can remember three solid instances where all four of my d-linemen got flipped in the air on a running play. I don't think I have any sacks through four games, but I might be mistaken.
And I still think USER RB should be bumped up a little, but I think I'm in the minority there.

Ya I'd be game to switch conferences, maybe I could recruit better then. Let me know which conference would want me, because I don't know if I'd be ready to play iron for the title every year with as slow of a team as I have.
In my offline dynasty, I jumped to the ACC in like year 3 or 4, can't remember which one. So I'll have to weigh my options, but let me know if either conferences want me.

yea thats my main problem with those sliders, ive got a few sacks using my DE though
I just pretty much stopped blitzing all together though because everytime I throw out a blitz the computer finds a pass that ends up being for 15+ usually

What's funny is when I simmed to the offseason last night, it invited BYU to the Big 12, ECU to the SEC, and USF to the freaking ACC. Even the video game knows that the Big East isn't a real football conference.

I like Iron's Sliders, Much more realistic. Actually makes people pay for repeating the same play (such as blitzing) EVERY down.
Plus, I think I am averaging about 4 sacks a game, which is pretty realistic.
I think this year things are pretty tough. But will get easier as the years advance. I also understand that I have a pretty good team and I might feel different in others shoes.
My running game is atrocious, but my RBs are garbage. I think for this dynasty, where we have some tailbacks that can fly, it will be pretty realistic.
Plus, I think I am averaging about 4 sacks a game, which is pretty realistic.
