I am currently working on getting some teams moved around so everyone in the Big Ten plays each other. Since everyone in the Pac-10 already plays each other, I will just have human conference games this season in order to get this season finished before EA takes the servers down, and hopefully the conference champs will play in the NCG again or the Rose Bowl.
I don't know if or when EA would take the servers down. I would assume that there would be a little bit of overlap between '09 and '10, but I don't want to take that risk.
I did a couple of sims to the preseason, and the conference schedules always turned out the same. Since there are only three active Big Ten memebers, Purdue was playing only one human conference game, and so was Illinois. Both were practically guaranteed wins against MSU.
I decided to make Ohio State available, along with Penn State and Michigan. The drawing for Ohio State went as follows:
BN27 - decided to let someone else have a shot at tOSU.
Olaf - already tOSU in another dynasty, decided to stay at UCLA
Piney - 95% certain to go to tOSU, pending look at the roster.
WOOD - next up if Piney decides to stay at Oregon.
fanatic - moving to Penn State unless Ohio State stays open.

Me - Moving to Michigan. I wasn't in the drawing, but would gladly take tOSU if the impossible happens and no one takes tOSU.
Penn State is going to be run by fanatic, and I am moving to Michigan. This was done in order to have a fun, competitive conference race in the Big Ten, with 4 fairly evenly rated teams, all playing each other. Illinois, Penn State, Ohio State, and Michigan all play each other this season. If 'mania makes it back in time to play, then Wisconsin will only have 2 conference game. I forget which teams they'll play though.
Like I posted earlier, I won't be setting up Pac-10 Big Ten matchups during the season, because the extra human games might slow us down too much to finish the season. As it is, everyone in the dynasty will have 3 human opponents in-conference, and the conference champions will hopefully meet in a bowl game.
