Losing games on purpose never seemed so fun.
I meant that MSU took a lot of the better recruits in Michigan. I won't be losing games on purpose. I'm going to earn the beatings that I get this season. If I don't throw up all over this Michigan background first. :sick1:

Any thoughts on schedules this year? ...
Yes. Everyone will play their 3 conference games vs. human opponents. I'll setup all the OOCs against as highly rated CPU opponents as possible, but I will not schedule any Big Ten vs. Pac-10 regular season games. Hopefully we can beat down the other conferences in OOCs enough to get two Big Ten - Pac 10 bowl matchups like we had last season.

This WILL be the last season for this dynasty, and I want to make sure that we get it in before 2010 comes out. That's why we're having fewer human vs. human games. Everyone is more than welcome to recruit during the season, but since in-season recruiting has no effect whatsoever on your team, I will not wait for someone to recruit before advancing.

We are advancing to recruiting week 2 tonight. The deadline is 10 PM EST. I would like to go before that though, and will check as soon as I get home from work.

I am starting to feel regret already :sick1:

Seriously... the cpu had 15 HB targets??? And like 14 of them had 4.4 speed or slower.

Basebuck... you are soooo going to owe me leaving you a loaded team to take over.
Yeah, Michigan was the same way. Luckily they only had one tackle and one guard signed, and I was able to go in and do some pruning.

How are tOSU and ttun's teams this year? Rated fairly well?
OSU is pretty good and deep. They have Pryor as a 90+ rated QB with damn near 90 rated Henton as his backup. Saine and Thomas are 95 and 96 speed guys with a lot of low 90's speed guys too. Their 'D' is going to be pretty sick too.

Michigan will be in alot of trouble if Shaw or McGuffie get hurt. Their QBs are serviceable, but nothing special. Most of their WRs are going to be cut, because they're too slow for WR, and too small for TE. Defense is ok, but just like the real Michigan, not very much speed. I'll have a lot of position changes in order to put together a 'D' that will maybe keep up with the rest of you guys.

I had about 7 guys signed already and nothing I would call special about them. Luckily they signed a G and C, they are so low on OLinemen, but thankfully this is a one year type deal so unless I get a rash of injuries I should be fine.

I also had to purge their WR list since they were targeting slow asses there as well.

I actually am lucky I only need about 12-14 recruits to have a full 70 man roster.

OSU will be rated VERY high. Pryor and Henton are both 90 rated QBs, and everyone should be rated highly. And Saine should be insane. One reason I will be ok with not being Oregon as with them I would have to be a pass happy offense versus a more traditional run offense that I can run with Ohio St.

The only problem will be team speed as I will only have one truly fast WR and CB. The scary part is their LBs are all upper 80s and if I recall 2 OLB that are 90 speed. Very tempting to play a 3-4 defense with them cuz even the MLBs kick ass.

Iron, I do have a question. Can I move Stoney to TE since he is listed as WR in the game but everyone knows he is a TE? And the reason I have to ask is cuz he had 90/91 speed.

I thought that he was 89 spd. If he's 90+, then he's a receiver. If you'd wanted to move a 6'3" 190 lb guy with 87 speed to TE, I wouldn't care, but the 90 speed line has to stay solid.

I'm pretty excited about the defensive speed. That's what I couldnt stand with Arizona. They had no defense at all.

I finished recruiting last night and I think only BN27 was left
