That means that we'll have an Illinois v. Oregon NCG. Memphis is the only other undefeated team. They play Miami Fl. in week 14, and would be unlikely to jump either Illinois or Oregon even if they do win that game. If Memphis or maybe Texas pose any sort of threat to the NCG, then I'll take them out during the conference championship weeks.

Did we advance? I ask only to see if that creates a UCLA vs Purdue Rose Bowl?

Damn great game Smooth. Well, great for me, not so great for you.

A great comeback by me to win. Down 28-7 halfway through the 3rd quarter is never good. Scored a quick TD for 28-14. But somehow my defense started clicking as smooth went conservative and I made him pay for that. My offense finally woke up and I scored two more times and scored the last TD with 10 seconds left to send it to OT.

In OT I scored a quick TD so UCLA had to answer. He did answer but decided 'he had to go for 2' and the rest is history. As smooth rolled to the left I noticed the TE was his target and sprinted my SS to cover him. As the ball arrived I hit sticked him and the ball fell harmlessly to the ground.

Your offense started clicking, but you don't win if my guys don't drop those easy interceptions. The first two I could live with. But the third, the one on the game-tying drive, made me want to throw my controller through the window. I had my MLB on Spy, I was controlling him, and you threw a duck right at him. I even timed it for a user pick and the ball just bounced off his hands. I was so pissed. I think you scored a couple plays later.

In hindsight I probably should have kept the attacking on offense, but my defense was playing well, and since I had a good idea at what you liked to do on offense, I figured I could stop you. It didn't happen. But damn, if any of those three swats were picks...

The same exact thing happend to me against the Ducks. I bet I dropped 5 INT's

I think that BN27 still had to play Cal, but I don't remember if I saw that last night or Monday night.

Looking at the bowl predictions it looks like Memphis would be in the way for an all-human Rose Bowl as well.

If Memphis beats Miami, and if UCLA can beat Wisconsin, then it might be wise to make sure Memphis loses their conference title game to set up the Rose Bowl to be UCLA v Purdue.

Just a thought.

Memphis has never beaten Miami in any simulation that I've done, but I already planned on taking them out in the Conference USA CCG should they pull of the miracle against Miami, and UCLA wins in week 15. Basically the only thing that will prevent a UCLA vs. Purdue Rose Bowl is if UCLA loses to Wisconsin. Sims where UCLA beats Wisky result in UCLA going to the Rose Bowl. Sims where they lose could put UCLA anywhere from the Sugar Bowl to the Cotton Bowl.
