Mania and I are trying again tomorrow. The game was screwy. It started off with me unable to even call a play on defense and he scored right off the bat. Then, at the end of the half with him leading 10-7, I got the ball in FG range. I tried calling timeout, but the game wouldn't let me. I was POUNDING the Select button. With one second left, I paused the game so I could call a timeout that way and the game froze up for both of us.

It's too late for me to start a new game, so we'll try it again tomorrow.

I haven't heard from Mania since then. Didn't he have connection troubles before? If so, he may be having them again.

I would bet that you'll be able to play your Bowl game before then. As soon as Olaf and 'mania can play (Or I autopilot 'mania) I'll advance through the championship games and into the bowl season. Beyond that, depends on how fast we move through everything.

I'm not sure how you want to work my game with Mania. I recommend simming us if he isn't back tonight, though. We did try to get a game in, and he was leading 10-7 going into halftime when the game froze (Of course, it would have been 10-10 if the game hadn't froze). Putting him on Auto and having me play a CPU Wisky team seems a bit unfair.

Yeah, I know it seems a bit unfair, but Wisky actually has nothing to play for. They will be in the same bowl win or lose.

Also, 'mania has been on BP and has posted since your last attempt. If you haven't heard from him since then, then I think the only thing to do is to put him on auto and let you play Wisky tonight. If 'mania gets a hold of you before you play, he can remove himself from auto. If he gets a hold of you before I advance, but after you've played the CPU. I can always throw game results out and let you play each other, if you choose to do so.
