In his own little world, he did nothing wrong. Everyone knows he did it but him. Honestly, he will go to the grave denying it, just like OJ. They fit the Trojan name well.

I think it's a little bit easier to deny taking some gifts than murdering a couple of people in cold blood.

...at least you'd think it would be. :(

Was USC given a scholarship penalty or a scholarship bonus?

With his back up against the wall Kiffin has given scholarships to a punter, a kicker and a long snapper.

What am I missing?

That if USC is not going to be as good, the need for above average kicking, particularly punts, is greater?

U$C currently has a class size of 20.

Can anyone shed any light on if this is because they are counting early enrollees towards '10 or if the sanctions are on hold pending the appeal. I looked back about 10 pages in this thread and saw nothing regarding the sanctions being put on hold.

Not an authoritative answer, but I did understand they were appealing. In any case they only took 19 last year and could count several against 2010.

What I find puzzling is that they have recruited a punter, a kicker and a long snapper. Those are frequently walk-ons and you would certainly think would be so for a team short on schollies.

Even stranger is their continued recruitment of JUCOs. Why use a schollie on a kid who will be gone in two years when you are still facing a year short on ships? More puzzling still if they are appealing and these kids will be gone with two years of punishment left.
