I'm really irritated... had to play that game again last night and came out in the losing end. Now facing possibly not being bowl eligible depending on how the last few games go, and even if I'm bowl eligible maybe not getting into a game

I'm actually having a hard time believing that I beat Idaho. The game was in that shit box that Idaho plays in, and gave them the massive home-field advantage that comes with it. I was down 14-0 almost immediately, and simply could not move the ball. They were stuffing the run, and my QB was missing wide open receivers by a country mile. Until the last drive of the first half, I was 0-6 passing with an INT. Right before the half, still trailing 14-0, I got sacked on first down, and threw an 88 yard TD pass on second down to close it to 14-7. Idaho took a 21-7 lead late in the third quarter, and that's when all hell broke loose.

I get a pick six to close it to 21-14. Idaho and their super runningback (over 200 yards rushing and about 150 broken tackles) drive right down my throat and go up 28-14. I'm bombing away, and close it to 28-21. They drive all the way down inside the 20 and fumble, I recover. On second down I throw a pick six. 35-21. I'm still bombing away, and close it to 35-28. THERE"S STILL MORE THAN TWO MINUTES LEFT IN THE GAME!!! I kick it deep. I stop them on a three and out. Mix of run and pass, and I tie the game with 40 seconds left. 35-35. Holding penalty puts Idaho in 3rd and 20. Conversion! A couple of sacks and it's 3rd and 21. I hold, and the clock finally runs out.

OT. I win the toss, and go on defense. One incompletion on first, and a defense that couldn't get pressure on the QB with six rushing has now had sacks on 5 of the last 6 plays in the 4th quarter and OT. Idaho doesn't score. Second play from scrimmage, and a running game that couldn't get started for most of the game scores on a 25 yard dive play.

Stupid.

I did get the 2* Guard that darby and I were competing for. So, double win for me. Based on his projected attributes, I think that he'll start for me as a true frosh... He'll probably be rated in the 70s overall. This guy is my first non-safety. I now have a 3* SS, a 3*FS, a 2*FS, and a 2*OG.

I have a feeling I'm going to lose a lot of the head to head recruiting battles between myself and other user teams... I have D+ rating in like 4 categories

Yeah, you're going to struggle, but you're only trailing me by 1 for the DT that we're both going after. I do have him and one or two others visiting this week, so hopefully I can get a couple more commits soon.

I have this very ominous feeling that I'm being played. I have alot of 3*s that have me as their #1, as their only offers, and the leads are huge. However, they're not committing, and I'm willing to bet it's because they're holding out for the bigger schools in their top 10. I really need a rash of commits from these guys, because they're making me nervous.

At least you are leading... I have a ton of 3* guys that I am #2 , but their only offer and the 'big school' ahead of me is lightly recruiting them (ie keeping them on the back burner) But I can't get enough points to really gain ground... SOOOO frustrating.

Also it sucks when I can't beat North Texas on recruits as it seems they are my biggest recruiting rival on most of my guys.

Lost to Kansas State 59-21. My guys tired out real quickly trying to keep up and couldn't tackle or play defense. Looks as if bowl eligibility is slipping away if I don't get some wins in the next three weeks.

By the way I will be away from my PS3 for roughly the next 10 days. If you need to advance and sim one of my games to get through it, go ahead and do so.

Your schedule will be more favorable next season. Especially if you don't get promoted this season. You won't have 4th level and higher teams on your schedule like you did this year. I'll be able to give you a more even schedule, and you won't be allowed to play anyone above Conference USA level, unless it's your one rivalry game.

I'm not complaining about anything just stating what it is. If my schedule is tough my schedule is tough. Find a way to win and you'll get more quality players I always say.

Should be in good shape with Akron, FCS Southeastern, and Eastern Michigan to finish up the slate. If i can finish 7-5 you gotta assume the New Mexico Bowl will be calling my name.
