I played my 13 year old son yesterday. I was ULM and he was Bowling Green. The game is not in a good place. O-line play is so bad. Run play designed to go between LG and C. So of course the LG goes straight to the DT to his right plugging the hole and ignoring the DT in front of him. 3 yard loss. Many such instances of this.

Also, apparently BG's zone defense is the 85 Bears.
The line play is for sure comical. I’m getting the hang of it.

I have been playing with OSU so QB mobility is ok but normally I roll with QBs with 85+ in speed. I’ve had to maneuver in the pocket more than I’m used to

It's just broken. From what I understand the OL AI in EA games is designed to do what they play tells them to, they don't adapt freely like on a human type level. So if OL are just doing random (always wrong) things, it means the AI is broke to all hell.

Outside of the OL play being so completely broken, this is the next worst part about the game. The spin/juke type moves are completely cartoony both in appearance and effectiveness.
Well depends on who you use.

Treys spin move blows but Quinshons is unstoppable. Just no consistency.

Overall I’m getting the hang of the option but still a wildly disappointing game.

Who's the genius at EA who decided to completely flip what we've been used to in EVERY OTHER NCAA GAME when it comes to the read option and make it that you hold hit the button for the QB to keep the ball instead of handing it off? I've kind of gotten used to it but I still too often hit the button thinking im going to hand to the RB and then end up losing 5 yards because that actually makes the QB keep.

Glad I didn't spend money to get this piece of shit. Maybe next year, friends.
I ran an outside run play to the right. All WRs are supposed to block. My WR goes past his DB, runs past a safety that ends up stopping my HB, and before I get tackled he sprints past the other safety that is about 15 yards off the LOS. The WR never made any attempt to block anyone. That can't be explained on poor ratings.

I have found Jet Sweeps and Sweeps are almost easy yards against the AI. Throw in Drags and Off Tackle runs you have the only offense that works for me right now. The AI does not adjust to my plays ever. If they did the deep ball would be open at least once a game.

Hmm I’ve experienced different. I find if I run the same play the AI will adjust.

Yeah I had to adjust the sliders to get the game more realistic. I’m sorry but I’m a good player (not elite but I win far more vs human than I lose) and the AI should not be pushing me with Akron.

I figure scores like 49-24 vs Western Michigan is close enough (they had a kick off TD and a pick 6 so it was a fluke 24 points).

I’ll see what Oregon has in store for me later today. Overall I’m disappointed but the graphics are great and it helps time pass

The Jet Touch Pass plays kill the AI every time lol. I don't know how they managed to fuck the AI up so much in this game. It's all around broken in pretty much every area. Like i've said before it's very very obvious they spent way more time on the cosmetic aspects of this game than the actual gameplay.

They need to seriously just copy/paste the game play from 2014.

One thing I do like about this game is I am breaking up a ton of passes and forcing a ton of over throws etc. which is an improvement over 90% completions that would happen in 2014.

Anyone play with a fun o playbook by chance? The OSU playbook is terrible and the spread option playbook is also terrible so I’m looking for a good playbook.

UNLVs playbook is a lot of fun. Especially if you like RPOs and Other Spread Type option plays.
