This game has not caught my love like 14. I just haven't played it enough to try online dynasty. I tried to bring ODU up a notch as an OC, but the damn super-sim when I am on defense seems so rigged to make me have the last drive to win...every game. I started playing both sides and it just feels so off.

It definitely has a different feel....I wish there was a level between varsity and all-american. When I play AA, I am throwing a minimum of 4 picks and on varsity I'm dropping 50+ every game. There are definitely kinks to work out and improvements they can make, but it's at least satiated my appetite for now.

Finally got my hands on it last night.

Fuck. What great potential and base, undone by a handful of nonsensical things.

The passing control is nice. Sanders is a weapon.

The defensive rotations to fill voids from blitzing feels authentic. For example, my 2nd throw was a pick. My friend sent a nickel pressure and the safety rolled down to pick up the #2. I just ran a simple pole concept to that side. So if the corner clears out, I'm throwing the out. I was late AND inaccurate - pick six. Sure, I fucked that up, but it felt good to be penalized. Then later, he was playing everything heavy inside shade near the red zone. Got him him with a similar concept against man, and the way the WR broke the route at the top, that left the DB under and in trail, made the layering on the TD pass feel fucking sweet. I threw for 61%, 2TDs and 1int my first game on all American. And majority of that wasn't off play action.

Pass rush in passing situations was nice. They get after it. But the scrambling mechanics can be a bit abusive as well. Ultimately if someone did a dynasty and adjusted QB speed, it would be a much better experience.

The running game is good, until it's fucked. The reach on zone blocks is a big improvement. But then you'll also see blocking logic to full retard the very next play. Vacuum and suction blocks are still a major issue.

Jump cuts and spin moves are disgustingly overpowered and need fixed ASAFP. Because they damn near break the game.

So much potential, falling short. If the blocking, QB scramble and ball carrier moves are fixed, I could see myself buying a system for it.

I can officially say I can’t stand this game. I’ve never thought I’d say that. I’ve always enjoyed every game but I seriously don’t know if I can play this game much anymore.

The OL performances are a joke. That’s the biggest issue I think. I won Jack Sawyer the Heisman in year one of the dynasty that’s how silly it is. Then in year two with all the upper class kids gone (next year is going to be tough btw) I had to shut the game off because UCLA had 5 straight sacks. So I figured I’d restart the dynast after having won the natty in year one and yeah just more of the same BS.

I shouldn’t have to basically run tressle ball to win games lol… run run pass.
