Winning 58-17, after 2 KO ret TDs, 1 INT ret TD & a safety, I decide to sim the last kickoff. Naturally it freezes :bonk:

Also fun, I pinned my opponent at the 1" line. I sent the house, they call their 40th screen pass, which means the QB drops back, then backpedals further to avoid the rush. Naturally he goes 3 yds out of bounds for a safety  :shake:

Hey it's happened before, not often though. But I hope it doesn't happen often

Why, hello there, revamped Players Leaving screen. I kind of like the new way to convince players to keep from leaving early or to transfer. I guaranteed Hankins a national championship, I told Bellamy he'd regret not getting his degree, and I convinced Bryant to stay by saying he'd be a 1st round pick next year. He was projected as a 4th round pick. Transfers are a hell of a lot harder to keep. I lost Cardale Jones, Warren Ball, and Ron Tanner to other schools. I couldn't convince them at all.

And athletes. Ohhhh...athletes. My best recruit was an 81 OVR ATH. He'd be an 81 QB with his 90 THP and 84 THA; a 79 RB with his 88 SPD, 85 ELU, and 82 BCV; and an 81 WR with his 80 CTH, 85 RTE, 78 SPC and 79 CIT. Damn...

So did you rename him Jalin Marshall yet?

So how accurate have the ratings in recruiting reflect to their ratings as freshman? (for 100% scouted players)

Spence & Simon are absolute beasts. Through week 6 of my dynasty, Noah leads the NCAA with 10.5 sacks & Simon is number 2 with 7.5.

That's exactly what I did. As for accuracy to their scouted rankings, I didn't really pay that close attention. I think they were dead on, though. You'll have enough scouting time to scout just about everybody you want 100%, which is good.

Over the season you can unlock their exact ratings. You will have to pick.which kids to roll the dice on and it is very hard to track down sleepers after the preseason due to the limited time.

Yeah that's not remotely true, unless you're talking about recruiting against the computer when 0-3 schools offer the best prospects.

there are just so many sleepers this year that missing kids is inevitable. You have time to scout a good chunk of the guys that surface on your preseason list. As for the rest of the gigantic pool of unreliable ratings, you just have to roll the dice.

That's what is so exciting about the new system. You really do find sleepers that others do not. You also pay for it when you spend 60 min on a very overrated prospect since you only get 180 min each week after the preseason.

I've found that your classic measurables - nfl size, seem to
Produce the most low star gems. #86 G. & #121 G jumped
Up to 73 & 76 projected. Thats just lineman. Tired a similar
Approach for WR's. #111 WR turned out to be a gem. Good
So.far.

No, I'm talking about scouting them. You don't just do it in the preseason. You get 3 hours every week, so by week 5 or 6 your top 20 or so guys should be fully scouted. So yeah, it's pretty remotely true.
