So how is recruiting going for everyone in Dynasty play? Can't wait til I get the game tomorrow...
I messed around with recruiting and so far I am a fan. The layout is a little different and once you scout it appears that you will know the exact ratings. I say appears because I haven't seen if the 'Scout' ratings are any different than the actual ratings once you get into the season. I found a 3* QB that was projected to be a 68 OVR and after scouting he ended up being a 76 OVR Gem.

The defenders appear to be much better and if you have an accurate QB you can hit passes into small windows. But that has proven to be a double-edged sword for me so far. I have thrown 4 picks in several games so far.

My initial assessment of the read option being too powerful was incorrect. If the defense adjusts to it, it is containable. But it is definitely something you can incorporate into your offense now, especially with PA seeming to be okay too.

I was wondering about the ratings... saw a thread on another forum that mentioned specific ratings of players during recruiting and changed during scouting and was curious if they showed that now. Actually found a program last year that gave me a 5-6 pt range of their eventual overall rating that was pretty accurate, it was awesome finding the better prospects and realizing that JUCOs came into the game really highly rated. Now I don't have to use that :wink2:

Can't wait for tonight when I grab the game and spend the night exploring everything!!!

I still am really disappointed with the crowd sounds. If someone breaks a long run in the 'Shoe, the stadium goes absolutely nuts as soon as someone hits that "next level"

In the game it's a dud, I wish there was a way to do a stadium sound for this :(

So...Ohio State's Pro Combat uniforms....ummmm....

Last year, did the right side of the helmets have the digits reversed? Did John Simon have the number 45 on the right side? Because that's how it is in the game.

You cannot quiet the crowd as the home team.

They added illegal touching, which should've been a nice touch when the player runs out of bounds touches it first. the problem is there's no slider to control this penalty and if the defender touches it first, they still call it illegal touching

The Texas fight song issue isn't licensing, it's a glitch. EA made a big deal about recording like 40 home games and Texas was one of them.

They even previewed Texas' audio with Texas Fight, the Texas pom and just about everything else Texas.

It's a bug and something that shoulda been obvious.
There is nothing obvious to EA. This game is always released in beta stage and unfinished and we the consumer still pay for this crap. The game engine hasn't changed. Neither has the stadiums really. Same animations except a couple.

I'm sure they all roll into the offices about 2 weeks before the game has to be finished and do their yearly minor tweaks, add some dumb feature that they promote as the highlight of the game and call it a year. Then go back on a 11 and a half month vacation.

Because there is no way you can convince me they actually work on making this game better each year.
QFT  :sad2:

Denard is the cheese weapon of choice in online play this year. When he isn't hitting his passes they are able to be defended, but that has only happened twice so far. The other games he hits 30 yard passes on the run after breaking two tackles and contain or he simply outruns the spy even if I move a S or CB to the spy.

One visual (visual, and we all know that is first priority for EA) problem that is annoying and was a problem in last years game is how white jerseys don't get dirty or have any grass stains on them. I played ND with their whites on in the rain and they were perfectly clean by the end of the game. I was wearing blue and my jerseys were extremely dirty.

These little issues are moronic and could easily be fixed. I notice them after playing just a few games. How can a developer not notice this stuff? If I can... a person who made the fucking game should easily be able to.
