found my first bug!

tried a bubble screen with trips right (the guy closest to me was the guy getting the ball, and the 2 split out wide were to block) well instead of going to block, both WR's shifted it over in a blocking stance doing nothing..looks like they were just gliding toward the middle away from the CB's

holy crap just had 2 plays in a row that was actually pretty cool..

one where the HB was just running a route in the flats, and instead of just going to the sideline and stopping like last years, he turned up field and blew away from the Linebacker covering him and I was able to hit him wide open 20 yds down field..

then next play, I ran a play action out of shotgun and saw 2 LB's bite and was able to hit a WR over the middle for a TD

another play that makes me happy, USC throws up a mini hail marry and found myself one on one, my DB is behind the WR, and instead of just standing there like before, the DB actually gains position and was able to intercept it at the 1 yard line

First game impressions

Pros:

Blocking seems to be a bit more fluid, passing is a bit better (saw the CPU try to float a pass over my LB's head). ESPN presentation is nice

Cons:

Commentary is still bland
Way too many In Game studio updates..I was getting them after every 2 plays it seemed
Few minor bugs I noticed
Same playbook
Ohio State lost to Illinois 42-10 while I was playing

after playing 2 games, I'm back on the fence of buying it...

Jwins, are you still planning on getting it, if so are you gonna create an OD planning thread? Participation in that will ultimately determine if I get it or not

last year, you made it in March :lol:

Already three things I like in 2 plays!!!

Always hated the HB routes in the flat that ended with him catching it out of bounds.

The playaction seems promising... #1 the LBs biting on the fake and being able to throw OVER them and #2 you had time after the play action fake to throw the ball.

Seemed like play action ended up a sack 75% of the time.

One question... how is the receiver icon thing doing? Do you get frustrated that they don't 'light' up fast enough?

1. PA seems A LOT better, I've only gotten sacked once so far off of PA, and it was a legit sack. I've had plenty of time to throw most of the time

2. Honestly, I forgot that was a feature, at least for me, I never even noticed it didn't light up fast enough
