The new in-game updates that EA is trumpeting has me really worried. They've come out and said that people would just blast through the old in-game presentations, so they've added a "hold-off" command to the presentations, so the game actually ignores button presses for a set period of time. They claim that this won't affect no-huddle, but I'll believe it when I see it. Also, let's say that It's the end of a half, and I'm rushing to kick a FG. The presentation pops-up and now I can't even call a TO, because the game wanted me to know about a game that I'm not playing in.

I'm just worrying for no reason, right? Added "features" never cause problems, right?

Their overload of "presentation" is precisely why user games have frozen on us repeatedly in my 360 online dynasties (that and the fact that they don't have the proper servers to support their titles).

Many times I've started a drive deep inside my own 20, with the crowd roaring, the stadium shaking and the announcers squealing. When I try to audible, sometimes it freezes the console on both ends.

Navigating the playbook is also way too slow so that we can have fancy background graphics that no one cares about.
