NCAA Football 11 (PS3) Bad Teams Online Dynasty

I'll be doing my recruiting and play my game today, sorry if I'm the last one. Crazy ass weekend...
Are you the last one? I haven't checked on the dynasty status since last night, and I can't do it now since I am at work making sure that my product doesn't blow up during automated test, and easports is blocked on our network. I probably won't be able to advance to week 2 until late tonight anyway. I really hadn't planned on advancing until Monday night, but will make every attempt to advance as fast as the users want to advance. I might just have to quit my job...

Yeah, there are two left.

So, BGSU went up against mighty Kentucky and their Heisman candidate RB...

I fucking lost, 41-15, worst game of NCAA anything I've ever had. Kept it close, then they scored to go up 17-0 at the half. I got it to 17-7, then shit fell apart.

They have to punt on 4th...and my returner fumbles it away.

They kick a FG, 20-7.

I get the ball back, hit a wide open reciever 45 yards downfield...and he drops it. 2nd down. I get sacked. 3rd down. ANOTHER FUCKING DROP. Punt on 4th, somehow get hit with a kick catching interference. I watched the replay, didn't fucking get NEAR him. In fact, I was being goddamn blocked. So, they have the ball on the 35. Run up the middle, my impact SS was cheating up and smokes hi--BROKEN TACKLE! Then my CB's gang tackle hi--ANOTHER BROKEN TACKLE! 35 yards later, a play that should have been a 3-4 yard loss is a score. Its ok though, still doable.

27-7, quarter and a half to go.

First and ten, slot reciever is streaking downfield uncovered. I stop, set my feet, and THROW!!!! And for some inexplicable reason the ball doesnt go to the left sideline where my reciever is. My QB, with his feet set and untouched, threw it to the right center of the field. INT.

I then quit trying. Now I have to fix my fucking controller.

Gave up 200+ yards on 30 carries to Chris Wells-I mean, Kensucky's starter.

I don't mind losing...in fact, I expect to lose quite a bit.

But when you feel robbed...goddamn it.

I feel ya

I got up 14-0 and then it just seemed like the computer was going to win no matter what I did, 75 yard punt return TD (in which the returner broke 2 tackles) then the QB who did nothing for the first 11 minutes turns into Robo QB and completes everything and throws 5 TDs in the last 2 quarters + 30 or so seconds

I don't know what we can do about the fumbles. I'm not having a lot of fumbles on my end, but my cpu opponents have been. I'll have to check the stats, but I think the only fumble that I had against Air Force was on a punt return where I tried to catch and run with the gunner closing in on me. Luckily, I recovered the ball, but that actually seemed like a realistic situation.

I dont think there is anything we can do

hopefully EAs next patch will do something about them

if you are getting big hit blasted and fumble or a defender strips you..... ok

but most of my fumbles on this game have been when my guy gets leg tackled or wrapped up at the waist and then just drops the ball to the ground, which is hardly realistic

I've probably played 6 or 7 games now and I'm not seeing the fumbling problems. I may have fumbled a few times in those games and they were plausible situations, i.e. QB decked while throwing the ball, a big hit, or just flat out stripped while not protecting the ball.

Stating the obvious here, but you have to cover up any time you get in contact with the other player. R1 button is your best friend.

UNLV wins 27-10, it was much closer than the score indicates. The game was tied early in the 4th quarter, then UNLV shut down Rice on offense and exploded for 17 unanswered points.

I got called for holding 4-5 times. Also a bullshit pass interference in the end zone. Rice had zero penalties.

What I found is if you try to juke, your fucked if you get hit. Its like, 15-20% of the time that you juke you fumble, no matter what kind of tackle. You can get tripped up and you'll put it on the ground, especially on kickoffs/punt returns.

And I understand the whole "Press R1" mantra thats been going around on all the videogame boards, but seriously, you shouldn't have to manually cover up EVERY time you get hit.

As of now, I wouldn't worry about it too much, shit happens and we can work around it. Frankly, its more fun later when you aren't winning so easily early on. Time to regroup and kick ass.
