I think that actually is unfair. It would allow some players to circumvent the rule, while not giving others the same chance.

This is all assuming that no seniors were redshirted, but...

I'll have 14 scholarships available. If I sign 25 players, then I can dump up to 11 players that won't have another 4 offseasons to go up 20 to 30+ points in their overall rating. You and Piney would be able to dump 10, and Basebuck could dump up to 9.

fanatic, and Olaf will both have 20 scholarships available. If they sign 25 recruits, then they will only be able to dump up to 5 players that won't have 4 offseasons to go up 20 to 30+ points in overall rating. WOOD and Whobe would get 7.

Having three players be able to dump at least twice as many players as other players and then enacting a rule that won't allow them to do the same thing is not fair, IMO.

We are advancing tonight after Piney and I play our game. We won't start our game until ~ 10:15 PM EST.

Piney, I've set myself to autopilot. If I end up working as late as I did last night, then I'll let you know around 8:30-9:00 that you can go ahead and play the game without me.

How late is working late, cuz really, as long as you are home and can play by 1am, I should be up so we can play.

It's unlikely that I will be that late. This should be interesting though. My game room is currently under construction. I had to move the PS3 to the big screen, which offers a whole different perspective. I will also be connected using the wireless router. If there's too much lag, I may have to have you play the cpu anyway.


I think that patch #2 was supposed to come out last night, but Sony was having some technical difficulties on their end. The patch was still not available, to my knowledge, this morning, but it might be available this evening.

Whipped up on ND last night. One play Clausen would complete a 25 yard pin-point accuracy throw, the next he would throw; without being hit mind you; a pass that looked like it came out sideways and land a few yards in front of the LOS and 15 yards away from someone.

I did not notice any change with the new patch. I haven't read what the updates were yet though, so maybe they didn't change anything I would notice.

The only thing that I can tell you is that during step 1 of the advance last night, the dynasty got hung up on downloading Oklahoma's information. It was hung up for about two minutes. IIRC, the enitre step 1 usually takes less than 15 seconds to go through, and that includes downloading everyone's shit. It just hung there for a while, and I thought that we had lost the dynasty. Then it finally moved to step 2, and on through the remaining steps. I don't know what happened in that two minutes, but that's bullshit, especially with it being a home game against a cpu opponent.

Same thing happened when I advanced last night in the other dynasty. Just hung there forever and then finally kicked through the rest of the steps.

BTW, good game last night... I am just sucking in the version for some reason.
