I'll have 14 scholarships available. If I sign 25 players, then I can dump up to 11 players that won't have another 4 offseasons to go up 20 to 30+ points in their overall rating. You and Piney would be able to dump 10, and Basebuck could dump up to 9.

fanatic, and Olaf will both have 20 scholarships available. If they sign 25 recruits, then they will only be able to dump up to 5 players that won't have 4 offseasons to go up 20 to 30+ points in overall rating. WOOD and Whobe would get 7.

Having three players be able to dump at least twice as many players as other players and then enacting a rule that won't allow them to do the same thing is not fair, IMO.

Okay, I have finally read this post. I can only take 20 players this offseason? Assuming your math is correct as I haven't looked. As it stands, I have no clue how many people are in my class now, but I know I have a few key parts left. All your saying is that I can only cut freshman this offseason, right?

Yep, only true freshman, and JUCOs. i.e. new recruits.

Everyone can take 25 this season.

Everyone will only be able to sign the number of scholarships that are available, plus 2 or 3 oversigns, in future seasons.

In order to prevent anyone from circumventing the new rule. All cuts, regardless of season, must be to new recruits. Once a player has made the team; then they are on the team until they transfer, leave early, or graduate.

A majority of the dynasty has already shown interest in implementing this rule. It's really just a matter of ironing out the details, and making sure that people understand all parts of the new rules and settings.

There will still be an official vote. I plan on getting all of the new rules and settings put into one PM, and sending them out to everyone to be voted on via PM.

I've got some time tonight, but I can play tomorrow too. We'll never play if I can't get signed in though. Also, the new playstation menu looks like one of those old people books that are printed in large print. Kind of silly looking.
