I'm hoping it'll be Vince Young on the cover, if they're going to go with a 2005 star that is moving on...although Bush is a pretty stand out guy, and I suppose a decent Trojan...if there are any

I wonder how difficult it would be to do a regional thing; say put a Big Ten guy like AJ for this part of the country, a PacTen guy like Bush for the West coast and a guy from the South, like Young for the Southern states......

Sports Illustrated does stuff like that all the time. Seems like there's probably more than one location where the boxes are made.

that sports illustrated issue is replaced one week later by a new one. I would imagine they would want to maintain a product identity. Also, creating multiple covers would probably create more displeasure over their regional star being snubbed. I think it would be a fun concept, but I don't see it happening.

To me AJ Hawk is a good choice. Buckeyes may be ranked #1 or #2 next year. All the hoopla that was USC is now gone, Texas is still good and have ton of talent...but they are last year's news.

Yea, it would be cool to have Hawk on there, but the thing is, there is usually only Wide Receivers, Quarterbacks, and Running Backs that make the cover.

Yeah, but with V. Young and Bush coming out, it will be nearly impossible to land on the cover. Although, it would look really cool, I just don't see it happening with all the other players coming out. I think that Young will land the role because he won the national championship, and there was a USC player (Carson Palmer) on the cover a couple years back.

As much as we would all love to see A.J. on the cover, it's simply not gonna happen. It will in all likelyhood be Bush, possibly VY or less likely Leinart.

I keep going back and forth between Bush and Young. I think I'll go with Young since he had all the momentum after his amazing performance in the Rose Bowl.
