Personally, I don't care for it. People do not play the game at this angle, it shows off animations more than gameplay (or even locomotion), and with the "game speed slider" (as it was called/revealed in the most recent dev chat) certain animations will look better than others at different game speeds.
I'm guessing they are playing the game on default difficulty (Varsity), so hopefully that explains some of the oddities like QB accuracy on the move, breaking tackles, spin effectiveness, etc.
Overall though, I don't care for these kind of videos and I can see where it's a buzzkill for some. Personally, I think that will change when more game & gameplay features are announced along with real gameplay footage. At a zoomed in level like this and showing off "big" plays, most games & animations are going to be considered questionable at best.

But why write actual collision code when you can secure a monopoly to protect you from requiring actual improvements?
they've been doing this for yearsMeaning EA would have to literally release the same game with a new title for a year or two to work on a version that has a complete overhaul of features.

Game over. Of course, idiots like us will still buy it anywayInterestingly enough EA has taken down that video they put up, but I think the damage is already done.

it'll have shiny new buttons though. after the computer leads a 35 second 90 yard drive to score a touchdown to close out the half, a cool ESPN logo will flash across the screen!Same here. Infuriating gameplay in an active OD is better than nothing
