here's a crazy idea.....maybe fix it so there doesn't have to be a patch? did these guys not play the game before releasing it?

I believe thats the beauty of demos. You get a wide audience playing and your sample size increases. With just a few programmers playing it the chances of them catching what needs to be fixed is hampered. But with tons of feedback from actual gamers I think it actually helps them out.

Hey guys is there a way to cancel a man in motion? In Madden you can send a guy in motion and cancel him by hitting the audible button, then reseting the play (i believe its the left trigger button). With the limited play clock sometimes its useful to cancel a motion. Thanks

I haven't been able to cancel a man in motion since I had NCAA 2007 on PS2. I think that they got rid of it, because it was being used as a way to detect man coverage, without the guy playing defense ever seeing your off-screen receiver move.

is there a way to not suck? because I really suck........LOL. After thinking I was really good by beating SMU, Cincy, and Michigan State on All American, I promptly got crushed by osu and Notre Dame. Of course I was using Michigan.

Foreshadowing of this season maybe?

If you find it let me know.

I trounced Michigan and Penn State (on AA, using tOSU), then switched teams. Lost by 10 to PSU as Kansas; got it absolutely handed to me by Rice (I think) as Eastern Carolina. I'm throwing interceptions left and right. Fumbling all over. I'm adjusting to the adjustment of how the QB throws while getting hit. He doesn't step into the throw - or he takes this big windup and gets smacked - or he just throws an outright duck.

To put it mildly, I suck as any team that isn't inherently good. (I think also I'm a pass-happy player and this iteration of the game seems to favor a balanced offense.)

I played in my first online game earlier. played unranked. I was Auburn they were Da U. I have my doubts all of a sudden about this game as in 4 possessions in the red zone I threw 1 INT where the computer like tractor beamed to the ball out of nowhere, and then had 3 fumbles all around the 3 yard line. The last one coming with about 30 seconds left on the clock.

I lost 7-3. How is that for ugly?...LOL

How was the weather? I've noticed that the game seems to overreact to the slightest rain/wind. Fumbles and INT's go waaaaayyy up when its raining.

Plus I've noticed the AI punishes you for throwing off your back foot, rocketing every pass or facing one way and throwing the other. Whenever I do one of those things, something bad is gonna happen. Whether an INT or fumble, it appears to be some sort of retribution for idiotic gameplay.

:)

the game was in Miami. Perfect conditions with no wind.

The INT, I think I threw it while rolling out. My man was definitely open when I threw it.

Was you're QB in a set position when you made the throw? I tried throwing a off balance(running) pass with TP to a wide open Posey only to have it sail out of bounds.

Operation Sports' community rosters are due out sometime mid-day tomorrow. I have in-laws visiting, but I should have my big ten edits done later that evening, if not the afternoon.

How far back was the DB? They'll break on the ball if they are a step behind, which is realistic (it just tends to happen quickly right as the ball arrives instead of earlier in the flight path like it should).

it certainly looked like he was good 2 or 3 steps behind. and it was man to man, so he was trailing the WR, not just sitting in a zone waiting for the pass.

oh well. I'm pretty happy with only giving up 7 points though. For me that's amazing.....LOL

Didn't NCAA 2010 require 2 FB 3 FS 3 SS last season?

If so, it looks like they've bumped those requirements down to 1 FB, 2 FS & 2 SS, which is great for spread teams.

It's dependant on your playbook. LBs and DTs have been that way for awhile now...looks like they've added that feature to the offense. Nice.
