I played against Mizzou with tOSU my first game and their pass defense(or defense as a whole) is terrible so take this with a grain of salt. The difficulty was AA and I simmed at the start of the 4th up 41-3. But Alden Smith(DE) was in the backfield way to damn often. If I let the LT take him one on one he got his ass kicked, just like the guy blocking Cam. He was always running Boom down too. In general I could run the ball well. I saw secondary/cutback holes open up when the original whole was stuffed shut and still got a good chunk of yards, never saw that last year. I started passing by just going short to Stoneburner a lot and the long ball opened up later on.

On defense I had a ton of tipped passes. Hines finally jumped a route and took one to the house and that's when I decided to sim the rest of the game. Cam was bustin through the line at will, but I could never get a damn sack. I had to have at least 15 knock downs with on sack.

This is the best game so far. Hopefully it's this good when I'm playing with a team less than 85 overall in our dynasty.

One thing I noticed at the end was how much "highlights" they showed after the game. They wen't through a little ten pictures slide of nothing. I hate how the "play of the game" is always the last big play that you had. You would think by now they would have a scoring thing(greatness score?) for each big play and the game picks that one to show to you. Even the option to not see all of that crap would have been nice. I hit every button on my controller to try and get to the exit menu, but I had to sit there and watch it all.

yup and the play of the game always starts with saine about the 20 yard line with no one around him. They dont show the spin and broken tackle at the 50 to get him into the open field......

Was up on a guy 33-0 (i was OSU the other guy was oregon) before half and he quit lol. His first three plays on offense from the LOS was fumble returned for TD, INT returned for TD, INT which I punched in with Saine. :lol: I was up 21-0, 1 minute 30 seconds into the game :slappy:

They finally locked the roster thread on operation sports (a bazillion newbies would show up and ask the exact same questions repeatedly). I checked Carson's roster file earlier tonight and they had 99/120 done, and that probably wasn't the newest file (since it still appears the same now). They've got a team of 5-6 guys working on it. Either way, it looks like we should have their roster file done tomorrow, and I'll be able to put my finishing touches on it in a few hours.

I've had about 4 superman plays by the LB (one of which was a 3-4' hop), but by and large the coverage is so much better. You can throw a guy open on a crossing route, releasing it when he's next to a LB. Last year you had to be 5+ yds clear to have a prayer of completing that.

what a bunch of ridiculous people in that thread...i even saw a kid whine about not 'having the time' to read through that thread. LOL These people should just be thankful that others are willing to take the time to go through the hassle of typing all this stuff in.

There is a PA rollout play in the Ohio State playbook (one of the I-formations) that no one should try in a ranked games. I almost took a safety as Pryor ran 30 yards in the wrong direction while he was stuck in the PA animation.
