It's dependant on your playbook. LBs and DTs have been that way for awhile now...looks like they've added that feature to the offense. Nice.
Ah, I ran a 4-2-5 last year so perhaps that's where the 3 SS requirement came from.

Didn't NCAA 2010 require 2 FB 3 FS 3 SS last season?

If so, it looks like they've bumped those requirements down to 1 FB, 2 FS & 2 SS, which is great for spread teams.

Are you talking about position requirements for teams in dynasties? If so, how's that great for spread teams?

and EA production comes through big time. PA Boot Screen is straight broken. I've only tried it with OU but Landry takes the handoff and runs straight back. Has anyone ever seen a 62 yard Safety? Did it 5 times straight just to see if it wasn't a fluke.

Sending an email to EA... just letting you guys know.

edit: also 4-0 in online play. I'll test PABS on a few more teams, but the results are very repeatable.

Yep, that's the play I was talking about earlier...not PA rollout. Pryor ran straight backward for 30+ yards before I was able to get off a backfoot throw that went 5 yards, and was luckily not called for grounding.

Maybe they assumed no one had the game early, but the only patch I've seen was on friday when I fired up the game.

Nothing has surfaced since the announcement about the tuesday patch.

so far im not seeing this great AI blocking they have been talkin about.....was playin as AFA and everytime i tried a toss, the outside blockers would just run right by a cb or olb and im left stranded,...if he blocked, i score

I sure have had the opposite experience. Was running a counter play and my LE broke from the LOS, had the choice of three guys to block and picked the right one. 35 yard score.

In previous years he would have immediately blocked the closest defender.

Toss plays were a failure 98% of the time last year. This year they work about 30-40% of the time for a decent gain.

Most of the comments were probably based on traditional sets, not triple option looks like AFA

I had a toss play where Nirenberg went around the tackle and didn't block anyone. While a DB or lb came and stopped me for a loss. It could have been that I didn't stay back and wait long enough for the block to set up but I thought I had.

having done my fair share of pulling in High School, you do run right by people and miss blocks from time to time

I know, I just thought it was odd. I kind of remember Boren running around the end looking out ahead of him and finding no one to block while the DB was coming up unblocked, and Boren turned back towards the line and did nothing.
