The blue alone is a huge upgrade

They still don't offer white as a color. You have to click ''never quite in the middle of the circle''

Uniforms look identical. No front lettering.

Hopefully not. They don't need to make super-human, warping plays to improve the pass coverage, they can just improve the awareness and range of defenders in zone coverage.


I love the way you can throw a guy open against zone coverage (release it when an out route is even with a LB by the numbers and he'll catch it unchallenged on the sideline), but there's room to improve the basic coverage without going stupid.

I hope they don't mess with it too much, we can always tune it ourselves with sliders. The QB Accuracy slider is going to make a huge difference in this game.

Looking at TeamBuilder, Ohio State has 68 players, but fewer than usual incoming freshmen. Me being a stickler for accurate rosters, especially with the Buckeyes, I'm going to do some editing. My plan so far:

Duron Carter will become Corey Brown v.2
Jamel Turner will become J.T. Moore
Keith Wells will become Scott McVey

That leaves two players to create. Andrew Norwell is obvious. I'm debating between Drew Basil and Verlon Reed as the second guy. My question is, what should I do with the ratings? I'm not a recruiting guru, so I really have no idea how to rate these guys.

Once we have a set of quality named rosters, I'm going to be editing them for the buckeyes and possibly some other teams like UM or other big ten teams.

My planned changes:

WR Carter -> Corey Brown II
OL Blankenship -> Norwell
DE Keith Wells -> Baldwin
DE #98 Frosh -> Thomas Jr
LB Whiting -> McVey
FS Domicone -> Roby
SS Oliver -> Reed

I was so used to having super human LB's in pass coverage. I was playing Da' U last night and had a WR run across the middle and trot in the endzone and it looked like he was never covered. I had a man on so I wondered what happened. Watched the replay and Rolle was the one who was supposed to be covering him.

Two tOSU roster edits that must be done is to get rid of that stupid tape on his hands and those gay pads on Simon's arms.

Isn't #41 a RS Frosh? If so, that has to be Dorian Bell with the wrong jersey number. And #98 is Solomon Thomas with the wrong class year. The height/weight is his.

Jw, are we using team builder for our dnasty or is this for something else? I didn't buy 2010 and didn't get into online dynasty so I'm not sure of any of that?

Speaking of rosters, I'm a little disappointed this year. EA could usually be counted on to get the rosters accurate as of the Spring games. Looking at TB, Bell, Barnett, and Hall have wrong jersey numbers. It's a minor gripe, but assuming that we'll still be unable go assign duplicate jersey numbers, it's something that won't be able to be corrected right away.

Remember, the Demo roster might be a little different than the final roster. Remember how last year they used an early build of the rosters? So who knows if the demo is using the final rosters.

We are using teambuilder, which was just released, not the demo.

The refusal to allow duplicate numbers is inexcusable, considering the game works just fine with three identical number players on the field at once. I tested it with my last team builder squad.

I think I may just use james louis and jordan hall and switch their info and ratings.

I guess I will have to make james louis number four instead of six like he will be wearing.

I vote to replace barclay with basil.He is greatly overrated - look at that kpw - and basil is the long term answer anyway

No, I am just using team builder to make evaluations. Teambuilder only lets you have one rival, doesn't track the rivalry wins properly for the recruiting pitches, and had other weaknesses.
