Played a few games last night... damn I was rusty.

But I really did enjoy it. Had a 2010 Madden feel, and I really did enjoy madden's gameplay last year. Need to dive more into it this weekend when I have more time to play all the teams and get a good flavor of it.

lol, just played a game as Texas, won 31-28....Okla scored the go ahead TD with :13 left in the game, then I ran back the kickoff for a TD..

def feels different than last years game, seems pretty buggy..had a game when I was Ohio St where Pryor kicked the PAT, and it was short , hopefully that's just cause its a demo

I like the passing game so far. Like said earlier, you can't read too much coverage and adjust pre-snap. The deep ball has its moments and if you get a star reciever with a favorable matchup you can do some damage.

Beyond that, scrambling QB's can be shut-down big time if they take off too soon. The DE's persue much faster and I like that.

Another thing of note, you have to actually read coverage and make proper progressions while reading for a blitz. You can't just sit back and wait for somebody to have an open window, defenders are very aware of the ball and QB it seems.

Here is an animated gif of the new facemasks in the game, the last handful are fairly ridiculous:

They took the new TeamBuilder site down, it was not the finished product (it was basically last year's version with new rosters), so we'll have to wait to evaluate the rosters.

What would be great JW, is if we could just be in 1 big dynasty. Now THAT would be sweet! Do we know if it is still only 12 players allowed per online dynasty?
That would be great.

I haven't heard anything on that yet, but most of the E3 interviewers asked fairly useless questions. Most people want to know if conference invites are available during an online dynasty (like switching a 4th conference member to one with only 2 users), and they haven't had an answer on that either (the pac-10 inviting Boise State after a NC or two is another example of a popular question without an answer).

Found this on Operation Sports when searching for any changes to the 12 user limit:
I think auto turbo is for when you are running the ball, the CPU will apply the turbo for you at the appropriate times so you can just focus on juking, hitting your hole, etc.

I personally like it because I have a strong tendency to keep the turbo pushed down all the time anyway. Now I don't have to worry about it.

Don't know if it applies to Defense.
I think it applies to defense as well. Just based on some rudimentary testing on a kickoff, with auto sprint turned off, holding the sprint button when you are running is noticeable. You can see the player get a bump in speed.

With auto sprint on, applying the sprint button results in no noticeable change in running, at least to my eye.

Presumably, both methods end in the player ultimately reaching the same top speed. Although, that's hard to confirm without instant replay.
Its basically what it says. Its auto turbo. That doesn't mean the game randomly picks and chooses when to sprint for you. If you hold the joystick all the way up, then you'll be going top speed or at least getting to your players top speed. Its more realistic in my opinion. Its like NHL 10. However far you push up, thats how fast your player will go. No longer will you have to hold the right trigger to reach your player's maximum speed.

Some more stuff to chew on:
Your E3 NCAA Football 11 Questions: Round One - Operation Sports Forums
-CPU Recruiting has been tweaked and updated. Not completely sure if they will specifically draft to their team strategy as I didn't get too involved in dynasty yet, but I was told that it will not be possible for a 1-2 star school to just sign everyone like it was in years part.

-No conference realignments this year, as it wil not be hapenning until next year. They will look into this as a possibility for 12.

-No changes to the camera options. Still has the reverse lock cam on defense.

-The window of time for the hand off on the option has been slightly widened due to the reanimating of the hand off.

-Speaking of the option, the CPU seems to run it much better. Played some extended time with Navy versus Army, and the Army QB was pretty good about when to pitch, when to keep, and turning the ball up field.

-The CPU will cut the ball upfield on a much more consistent basis with the running backs. Gone are the days last year of the a CPU RB cutting the ball outside and losing his blockers. From what I have seen, it seems like the CPU run game will be something to keep qqqq

-No major updates to Road To Glory outside of the gameplay changes already known.

-The Speed Bust is now an option to turn on or off. You can change this from the menu system.

-Line play is still up for judgment. I saw some very good things, and a couple of iffy things. The offensive line seems to pick up blitzed well, but I did see some missed assignments on sweeps and such.

The playbook now allows you to scroll up and down between formations while looking at the list of available defensive formations.

That's it for now. Please leave any new questions, or something you may have not gotten answered, as I will be seeing more NCAA tomorrow.

been playin the demo a lot now, I like the offense, but I still struggle on defense, its hard to tell if its an AI mistake or just my bad play calling since there is no instant replay feature in the demo...Is it just me, or do zone blitzes never work? Every time I have tried it, the QB has found a wide open WR with no one close to him.
