I played as OSU and as Miami last night.

I had a user pick six on the first defensive posession in both games. In the first game, Harris tried throwing an out on the first play, and I took control of Chekwa for the pick. In the second game, Ohio State was actually driving and I picked off a pass and returned it for a 70+ yard return. Offense is very easy on all-american. Just about every play that I tried, worked. I beat Miami 35-7 in the first game, and beat Ohio State 21-7 in the second game. The only reason that it was only 21-7 is because I wanted to concentrate on running the ball and chewing up the clock. I had a couple of other picks, but none of them were of the superman variety, and I did get beat deep in both games, by getting a little too aggressive with my man to man.

I'm going to have to play more, but I'm thinking that playing offense might be too easy, and that user games will just be a bunch of shootouts.

Only one poster commented on the shipping reliability, and said it was YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary, a phrase they use often to mean each customer has a different experience).

As far as I remember, Dell does not offer release date delivery. They are pretty good as far as getting things out quickly, but my guess is you wouldn't have it until the end of the week at best. Which, if your waiting for a good roster upload, isn't too bad.

Wow, looking at the list of "improvements" due upon retail launch - you would have thought EA would delay the demo a bit. Some people have already decided not to buy based on what they've seen. I'd like to touch on a few topics myself.

Dline - The front 4 will generate more pressure. Thank you. I've been bitching about this for some time now. I'd like to see DT's push the pocket as well. Not just make the DE's the workhorse(s).

Improved pass coverage. Good, because zone blitz' were unusable in the demo. I found myself playing a lot more man than usual.

Improved lead blocking and pulling. Good, so your telling me that on a weak-side counter the G will actually be there to block the DE as opposed to him blowing up the play?...

Recievers dropping passes. Oh boy did they ever....

"In general, made defenders a little better at getting off blocks" : Hallelujah!! But I dont want to be running the ball and somebody just fly off a block using the highlight stick. That shit is annoying.

Removed an exploit that would allow for "Rocket Catches". Good god, we've had that for years now and there just addressing it?

Fixed an issue where defenders would turn the wrong way on curl routes. That explains a lot.

Fixed an issue where defenders in man coverage would make a bad direction change after pressing the receiver.

Pretty sure Jwins brought that up a while ago.

Tuned some out-routes out of the backfield that were too effective against man coverage. No shit, linebackers never got out to RB's on swing routes quick enough. So unless you subbed in a larger safety all your opponent would have to do is diagnose man or zone then check down to the back for an easy 5 yards everytime.

I had a 91 spd converted safety at LB, senior experience, great coverage, pursuit. He would be 7-10 yards behind RB Demps on every swing pass or pattern to the flat. The only guy who resembled coverage against Demps was Mr. Earl Thomas.
