Running motion looks better, but that's not a compliment considering how overdue that core feature is.

The receivers seem to react better while covered, but that's a hand picked clip, I need to see it in person with about 100 of those types of passes to gauge how realistic that is.

The first slant pattern we see shows the same glitchy coverage. The DB didn't stumble in his break, he was trailing a bit on a straight, fluid run and as the ball got close to the WR, there was apparently a glitch in the matrix. It happens when they change something.

The 1:00 min mark concerns me as well. Ingram makes a nice cut inside, which should help him break that tackle or at least pick up extra yards after contact. But rather than physics (or "locomotion) driving that interaction, the defender just floats by him 2 feet away uninterested in doing a thing. A company that didn't have a monopoly fueling their laziness would code that interaction driven by physics, where the defender overpursues, lacks the leverage to stop the player (especially a beast like Ingram) and slips off with an arm tackle.

I see some sizzle (but not much) and no meat in this '120 ways to win' thing. Besides the hurry up and expanded audibles (which could function without being a system team, like most of us who like multiple styles of offense), I don't see anything much different that will impact the way I play.

Looks like a nice step in the right direction. From what I'm seeing, they drastically upgraded running motion but haven't really touched the physics of contact very much, other than group tackling.

The change of direction changes are very nice and will prevent the superman heroics from speed DEs (which I did at times), but can you run all over a speed defense? If not, then folks will still go with glitchy speed defenses to compensate for the limitations in locomotion & running agility.

It would be nice if this played into recruiting. Run around with your quarterback? Attract dual threats but deter guys who put more importance in the NFL draft, where your dual threats don't get picked up as often. Have your results impact the NFL draft that plays out each spring, and the resulting draft success helps or hurts your recruiting success, especially with how you handle the top-10 superstar recruits.

A 5-star WR shouldn't be as attracted to an option team, same with a 3-3-5 and a 4-3 DT prospect.

I wish they would change how Draft Classes import to madden...how the ratings and stuff change over

nothing like loading up a draft class into Madden 10 and having 5 or 6 fullbacks projected as 1st round picks by the game

 I've only imported maybe 2 draft classes ever, but that would piss me off.

I haven't seen that, but last year, Madden really crushed some players in the transition. I remember Colt McCoy was rated in the mid-50s when he was imported. I planned on drafting Eric Berry in my second draft but passed on him when I realized he was going to suck, even though he was a 99 in NCAA.

I've seen the fullback thing. It would make more sense if EA would involve some sort of 'pro style factory' element into your college development. Running for 30 tds and rolling out all day might win the heisman, but it should cost you a round or two in the draft, which hurts your recruiting.

yea, maybe its different for different people

but QBs seem to always get bogged down, I uploaded like 10 years worth of classes and in those 10 years there were maybe 4 years when there was actually a QB worth taking in the first round...most of the time the best QB would get a 2nd round grade and the rest 4-7 (and the guys in the 4-7 group never end up being worth anything)

WR ratings always get bogged down too, I dont see how players lose a bunch of speed going from NCAA to Madden (applies to every position)...ive seen guys who are 95 or so speed on NCAA end up in the low 80s when imported onto madden, I mean I can understand bogging it down a little to adjust to the different styles of play between the games, but just totally killing a players speed is stupid

along with the 1st round fullbacks

punters and kickers sometimes too, there are certain years where I had a rush of punters and kickers get 1/2/3rd round grades by the game

Playing ncaa basketball 10. I'm seeing a lot of the espn graphics they advertised in this upcoming version.

The different stations, announcers and graphics were a nice touch.

No sense in bitching about 11, seeing as no one has been able to get a hands on.

Bitch all you want about EA, NCAA 10 and so on, but jesus fucking christ, no one has played this game.

Cynicism was so cool in high school.

So they released a series of clips, previews and interviews in order to make the fans wait to have any reactions?

We don't have to play shit, its EA - year after year we hope and pray for something else, something better. Hardly do they ever deliver this.

More videos:

If you glimpse at 1:55, you can see medical trainers come on to the field to inspect a player's injury. Pretty cool touch:

Nothing really special in this next one, the interviewers voice is getting pretty annoying

More hype man...and then a nice little replay shown of a touchdown catch. No more static camera angles on replays:
