I'm in need of some new sliders. I've been using playmakers AA sliders. I now can throw the ball fairly effectively. The run game for both sides is non existent. I'm talking a max of like 70 yards a game for me. I can get a good run off on toss's and stretches every once in a great while. But if I try dive's or anything right up the middle I am immediately stuffed. It seems as if the LB's are never blocked, especially the MLB he always makes the damn tackle!

FYI

Played a guy i was TXTECH he was Clemson. Good game for me becuase for some reason he only wanted to roll and throw instead of running with his two impact RBs...

to make a short story long: I had 7 picks, 3 by my impact CB. Both CBs and the FS returned each of touchdown and my LB got taken down from behind by a WR at the 6 or it would have been four returned for a touchdown. My free safety int return was for 97 yards with two spin/juke broken tackles and a stick juke on his user controlled RB.

Final score 30-8

I gotta admit, I still like this game a lot. I'm in year 3 of my Cincy dynasty and it's still fun. Recruiting seems a bit harder than years past. Despite that, I've got a decent bit of young talent, none of which have extraordinary ratings. I really enjoy the rarity there seems to be for highly rated Frosh. Most of the guys I get are rated in the low to mid 70s. Even as tOSU few of the recruits came in higher than a 78 or so.

My stud DE is a Soph, and is only an 81 OVR (77 or as a Frosh). My Frosh WR that is making some plays for me is only a 78 OVR. I look to be in good shape to add some players with speed this season.

Of course it also helps that they play in a relatively week conference. It also helps that I have Jones as a senior QB. I am trying hard right now to recruit an athletic QB. He's rated as 24th best QB, and I started off not even on his radar. But having Jones in contention to win the Heisman has me in the running for his services.

I have similar problems as well. I think it is a blocking issue for sure, but sometimes I think its a scheme thing. Realistically, most running plays won't be open 100% of the time, some will be open 50% of the time though (Or should be if you're a decent team with a decent O-line).

I've found a few plays that will work with good success almost all the time, one of them is in the Split Backs Pro Set I think. I run this with ND, You hand the ball off to the tailback who runs straight up the gap between the tackle and tight end. This is usually a guaranteed 8-10 yards except for goalline situations, even on Heisman mode.

Aside from this play, I've tried various other running plays without consistent luck. I do find that doing an O-line shift to aggressive will sometimes work out well for Dive plays. I occasionally will try shifting to right/left on toss plays, but this doesn't seem to have a big effect.

I forgot Demetrius Jones transferred to Cinci. Hes in the same conference as the other ND QB transfer, Zach Frazier. ND ran more of a spread offense against Purdue last week than anything else, Jones would have worked in nicely. IMO he should have been open to the prospect of being a WR, its worked out well for Arnaz Battle in the NFL. Best of luck to him though, hes a good guy.

So despite having Jones win the Heisman, I coudn't pull in any decent athletic QBs. I ended up with a scrambler QB that was only a 67 OVR or so. So I went and looked at my WRs to see if any of them had any decent THP and THA ratings.

It was just my luck that my top recruited WR was blazing fast and had an THP of 80 and a THA of 80. I think he was around 78 OVR, w/ 95 SPD and 90+ AGI and ACC, and had good size at 6'4" and 187 lbs. I moved him to QB and he was a 70 OVR.

Now, after having him RS his first year and sub in as the option QB his 2nd year, he's now the starter as a RS Soph. I think he's around an 81 OVR and his SPD is now up to 96. His THP is still 80 and his THA is now 81. He is simply lethal to run the spread.

I was finally able to recruit a top 10 mobile Frosh QB to back him up (79 OVR with ~76 SPD), and have a couple of other mobile QBs backing them up (low to mid 70 OVRs and 80+ SPD each). Combining that with a great crop of RB and WR recruits (I have a true Frosh WR w/ an 87 OVR rating and 99 SPD!) I have a very explosive attack, despite not having much quality on the OL (that's where the QB's mobility pays dividends for me).

I still can't recruit any quality FBs (have to convert RBs) or TEs(have to convert WRs), but those players end up OK. Tall and strong possession WRs make very good receiving TEs.

*** Btw, a trick to retaining players' original attributes despite moving them to a new position, is to first move them to the QB position and save the changes. Then go back in and move them to the position you want to have them (this shouldn't be needed for changing someone from WR to TE). By changing them to a QB and then the final position, the only ratings hits they take are to their AWR ratings. I just recruited a 6'4", 212 lbs RB w/ 73 OVR that wasn't going to survive my roster at that position. I switched him to QB and then FB and now he is a 58 OVR, but still has his RB skills in tact.

Is there a way to switch teams during a dynasty? Like retiring and then taking another coaching position? I want to do it but I can't seem to find where I can....

They often times offer you a new position with a new team at season's end. They only offer you up to like 4 or 5 new teams, so depending on who you want to be, you may have to start over.

If you are in an online dynasty. The commissioner has to switch teams for you.

If you are in an offline dynasty.
Go to Dynasty Setup.
Then Coach Position.
Click on your coach.
Select 'Quit Job'. There will be an "Are you sure?" prompt. Click yes.
Select your coach again.
Select 'Find a Job'. There will be a list of coaching jobs that you can take. If you leave a 5* prestige program, you can get a job with a 5* prestige program or lower. Not all programs 5*s and lower will be listed though.

Do Online Dynastys give the option to change conferences? Like a MAC school joining the Big 10 instead of IU or Northwestern?

We are in the 5-6 year of our MAC dynasty and no one has been asked to change.

Just wondering...
