I'm not sure how many of you out there download roster files from sites off the internet but I've been doing this for several years now for the PS2 and Xbox. It has made playing the game so much more enjoyable than it already is. I just got an Xbox360 about 2 months ago in anticipation for NCAA08 but from what I have been reading, if you have an Xbox360 don't plan on getting roster files from someone else.

Microsoft is preventing people from sharing files online by banning consoles and corrupting files through their Xbox Live Updates....Unfortunately, when you upload rosters, your console ID and profile are attached to the file so the author is almost guaranteed to have his console banned.

I'm still hoping there will be some kind of work around for this. If not, I might also be considering selling the 360 for a PS3. I'll post back if I hear anything more.

The guy from FKrosters.com ran into this problem when MS started blacklisting consoles. He bought a new 360 and will be offering the files again this year. What each person needs to do, is rename the roster file after they download it and put it on their 360s. They also need to make sure that they don't list FK's roster at codejunkies.com. That's the site where Ms is getting the system info from and they are subsequently getting blacklisted.

I am not happy. Look at the cover for 08. They always put the heisman winner on if he was a Senior. Who was the heisman winner? Troy Smith. Oh, but wait, he plays for Ohio State. So what do they do? The put a fucking Boise State QB on instead.:teeth:

chris weinke was on the cover...the season after he won the heisman...troy lost the cover b/c of the national championship game...osu wins that game and he is the coverboy

I don't believe that's the case. EA is always looking for a justifiable reason to put a small market player that has big time marketability on the cover.

Larry Fitzgerald is the closest they have come to helping out "the little guy" in putting a Pitt player on the cover.

If the Title game were the issue, why not give it to Chris Leak?

Zabransky had a storybook season, a miraculous win over Oklahoma in a BCS bowl, and has the tools to be a good NFL player as well. Who knows, we may see him on Madden too in a few years. No one has ever pulled that off.

Madden 08, All-Pro 2K8, and NCAA 08 all to run at 60 fps on 360, 30 fps on PS3.

Deflated Pigskin: PS3's Football Troubles news from 1UP.com

...

We have confirmed the Xbox 360 versions of Madden NFL 08 (August), All-Pro Football 2K8 (July), and NCAA Football 08 (July) will run at 60 frames per second, whereas the PS3 editions are locked at just 30fps. In the simplest of terms, this means that the 360 versions will run smoother and faster, and you'll have an easier time noticing subtle animations.

While we haven't had the opportunity to see the difference with EA's titles (the publisher hasn't sent us PS3 builds of either), All-Pro Football 2K8 definitely runs better on Xbox 360.
