6 or 7 minute quarters are fine
Super-Sim at the player's discretion...halftime adjustments, people!!
On that list I like Pitt and Michigan State, and possibly Louisville...I'll have options

I end up being the swing vote. I planned on voting for Draft (which would make it 4 v 4 and a tie). So this question is for those that voted Draft. How set are you that this is a draft?
How 1st come 1st serve would work... To make it somewhat fair we will set a date/time that claiming would start. So if you really want a certain team you can make sure you are around when it starts.

Ok, we are 2 weeks away. We are close to wrapping up the way to choose the teams (once mjs chimes in). If it is a draft I will randomly pick names out of a hat and will post the order (and PM everyone) and then we can start the draft ASAP but I won't push a time limit til next week (July 8th).
If we go with 1st come 1st serve then we will start that on July 8th at either noon or sometime in the afternoon after work. (Basically whichever time is best for everyone, ie if you really want to make sure you grab a team let me know via PM which time is best for you)
Now when will we start? We will not start until there is a good roster file available. I have seen the 360 most likely will have a roster file ASAP, but the PS3 roster file might take a few days. As long as the roster file is done my tentative date will be starting the Dynasty on July 20th. Sending out invites and letting people dive into their preseason work (recruiting database, depth charts & redshirting) I will also create the schedule.
I will work the schedule out when we get a better idea of how many people and what teams everyone is to see if there will be conference games or not.
The settings? My goal is for All-American with some sliders to make it more challenging in the computer games. With us not starting for a few days it gives everyone a chance to tinker with sliders and some community boards for NCAA are good at posting some good ones.

Next order of business is do we want set deadlines for people to wrap up their "week". My initial thought is Wednesday/Sunday or Thursday/Sunday (ie one game during the week and then one on the weekend) so we can get 2 weeks done in 1 week real time. Of course if everyone wraps up early we can keep moving. But the set deadline will be used to keep things moving.

While reading online about the Dynasty, I saw where there is still the potential to stop and restart a game against the CPU. Are we going to put in place a rule about the number of times we can restart games? Realizing that there may be legitimate restarts (for example my 10 month old pulling himself up to the PS3 and hitting the power button), but its possible some may restart if they are losing.
Just a thought.
