Two bad spots in a row

I get the feeling these refs had some pregame North Carolina BBQ (ie, home cooking)...the announcers called them out earlier when they made up the collar tackling penalty and called it a face mask

This whole game changed when NCSU committed a personal fould and extended a VT drive after stopping them 3 and out deep in VT territory and leading 13-10 at the time.

They lost momentum and their lead on that drive and haven't goten it back since.

i think Frank Beamer is my favorite coach other than Tressel... his teams don't have gaudy numbers, but they play smart ball on O, hard hitting, disciplined D, and great Special Teams... the Hokies are definitely deserving of their high ranking...

Top 5, if you ask me...

Wow, they roughed/ran into the kicker on a missed FG...

At least they finally reached their goal of passing 100 yards in penalties...or at least it seems like they were trying to get there

unreal... that was kind of a cheap call, but i have to think that all of the other penalties contributed to the call... had they played clean earlier, they most likely would have gotten the benefit of the doubt...

NC State has a comical lack of discipline ... they should have beaten us if wasn't for what seemed like 100 penalties. Can you imagine if the buckeye's were coached by a guy like Amato (with his annual A-Motto's ... hahaha)? Ugh. what a chump.

Any NCSU fan who doesn't realize this undisciplined mob of a team takes its que from the head coach is a moron.

The only reason chesticles has a good record since going there plays in the NFL now.

Isn't the rule that if you run into the kicker, it is a penalty? Even if there is some slipping...?

I see a lot of roughing calls when a guys momentum takes him into the kicker even when he is on the ground, like Whitner yesterday

Edit: Wow, 247 YAC for NCST...this QB would look terrible if these guys didn't get so much YAC, he doesn't look like a guy that is comfortable passing the ball at all
