Still angry at Chic Harley
I mean that's what all the crystal balls say; but they also said we were gonna get Moore too. The facts on the ground are that the kid said he'd sign on ESD, then mysteriously backed up his announce date to February. Our top liaison with him just got fired for hacking emails (? we think?) and now OSU has a 2024 opening. I dunno if YOU guys can turn it around with him, since to my understanding he wasn't super pleased with not getting an offer sooner. But I am not at all confident he's going to Michigan and we just set up a meeting with Raiola for a REASON.

I feel like we've seen this a few times with Michigan under Harbaugh where they are the supposed "favorite" earlier on for a elite QB and then drift away and don't land him. McCarthy is really the only one they've landed of that category.

Interesting eval on Jadyn Davis from EJ Holland. It seems to mirror what other people are seeing in him. They can have him. Hopefully we can land Air Noland
“I was very high on Davis last summer and was fully onboard with Michigan making him the lone priority. However, I saw him four times after that and my opinion of him as a prospect went down. While I still really liked Davis, I saw him as more of a Top 100-150 player as opposed to a five-star. Davis recently moved down to an industry four-star after 247 (of all places) dropped him in their latest rankings. Of course, Davis also tumbled to No. 105 on On3, which is about right. Davis was rated extremely high as an underclassmen with almost unreasonable expectations. Things I really like about Davis: Poise in the pocket, footwork, command of the offense, presnap IQ, leadership, toughness, system fit for Michigan. Things that have my evaluation lower: Accuracy (yes, I know it got better but watch a full game film and you’ll see why), control issues (lets balls get away from him), inconsistent deep balls, enough arm strength to make some elite throws but nothing to salivate over, limited mobility and athleticism at 6-foot flat.”
