NBC Comedy: The Office, Parks & Recreation, 30 Rock, Community

First solid extended episode ever?

Gabe even chipped in some comedy.

Not sold on Ferrell, unless the new office rescues Jim from being too responsible to combat his madness.

Edit: cake ending was solid.

solid episode for what it was.......

the guest list on the teaser at the end has me excited for the last four shows of the season. It looks as if Ferrel is going to flake out, Dwight gets the job, and is going to flake out, and then they'll interview guys like Romano, Gervaise, Arnett, and maybe Jim Carrey.

my guess, when it all is said and done, I think Darryl somehow ends up with the job.

I really liked this episode, although I'll miss Michael and Holly's humor. Great couple.

I also think that Will Arnett would be a perfect fit. Maybe he could try some magic tric--illusions the same way Michael did.

Obviously, Ricky Gervais could do a great job, and Jim Carrey hasn't been funny in at least ten years, but Ray fricken Romano??!? I have never found him funny nor endearing in any way. I swear, both he and Kevin James made a deal with the devil to get onto CBS.

This is probably the only thing that could get me watching regularly again.

Finally watched Michael's last episode, and I have to say it was pretty well done. The goodbye's with Jim and Pam were pretty cool. I haven't watched in a couple months, so not real up on the storylines, but has Will Ferrel's character sucked from the start? Because I found it pretty awful.

I took a hiatus at one point too, but I've since caught up. Last season was a chore to watch.

Ferrell's character isn't the best, but if it had any redeeming qualities, it would lessen the impact of Michael's departure. He's been awkward, unpredictable, and altogether unstable-I can't wait for him to leave.
