NBA Discussion (Official Thread)

I’ll let people in on a little tidbit I have been tracking and using for my own purpose.

The Atlanta Hawks have now won 3 in a row and 9 of last 11 MLK Jr. Day games. Last year as a +170 underdog to Milwaukee. This year was a pick em where they were up 20 at half and won comfortably over the Heat.

Take that information and use as you like next year.:pimp:

(Now tracking the Grizzlies, who are finally good/decent and they’ve won 3 in a row in this spot)

The Grizzlies and Shannon Sharpe got into a verbal altercation before halftime.

Just makes everyone look bad. Shannon's response is so stupid.

It was reportedly about Joe Tsai's desire to not give Kyrie what he wanted. The Nets told the Lakers their offer would have to be three first rounders, pick swaps and all their young players. lol

Link to Tsai's unwillingness to trade with LA. I read a tweet about the return from the Lakers, but I can't find it. I think it was from someone reputable..., but I can't remember.

Hopefully "Maybe It's Me" means he wants to go back to Cleveland and fill the hole at SF!

LeBron needs a buyout from the Lakers. Maybe he can threaten to retire if he doesn't get one as soon as he has the scoring record. I don't see anyone willing to give up the picks it would take to get him away from the Lakers just for the honor of paying him 50 mil a year for the next 2.5 seasons. If it was as simple as giving LeVert and Love to the Lakers for LeBron I would do it.

I wish teams would do this with the Yankees
