People are referring to Ja Morant as Ja Wick. lol

He is currently out indefinitely after a two game suspension for showing a gun on camera at a strip club in a state he doesn’t have permit to carry. No charges were filed, and there’s a lot of smoke out there that he’s in rehab currently after this recent incident.

I’ve read that he could be back in four games, I’ve read that this could literally be an indefinite thing. Like, rest of the season. We will see. Either way, hope he gets his shit together because he’s so fucking good.

It's one of the most insane and complete turns south in sports that hardly anyone knows about these days. You could make an argument that the then-Bullets were one of the top 3 franchises of the 1970s, coached by legendary KC Jones and Dick Motta, winning an NBA title and losing in 3 other Finals. They made the playoffs every year that decade.

They won 54 games in 78-79, then won only 39 games in 79-80, Dick Motta resigned, and the franchise more or less fell of the face of the earth (of relevance, at least). They made the playoffs several times in the 80s, but lost 6 of their 7 playoff series. Since they won the NBA Finals in 1978-79, they have won a grand total of only 5 Playoff series, never advancing past the next round. Since winning the Finals in 1978-79 and making the playoffs every year in the 70's, they have missed the playoffs 26 times. In that span, the Los Angeles Clippers, widely panned as the worst-run franchise in professional sports for decades, has won 7 playoff series and missed the playoffs 28 times by my count.
