Just a random NBA thought. Apologize if it doesn't belong here. But is anyone else tired of hearing about how Michael Jordan is the most competitive athlete ever? You don't get to quit TWICE in your prime and hold that title. Any sports fan could name 10 psycho competitors in their sport that would have played until they were 80 if they could, and would have tried to fight you if you tried to make them quit in their prime.

GS giving up just massive amounts of points...65 in the first half to the Lakers.

They may score a lot but they better get back to playing defense or they aren't repeating (hahhaha) I mean winning another title this year

LeBron James, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant can earn $210 million deals under new CBA

The expected maximum salary in 2017-18 for a player with 10 or more year's service--including many of the game's superstars, like LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Chris Paul, each of whom can become an unrestricted free agent next summer, will be $36 million, allowing a player to sign a five-year deal with his existing team for around $210 million.

Say goodbye to Mike Conley's paltry $153 million deal signed his summer. The superstars of July are signing deals worth $210 million.

For LeBron James, given that the salary cap is set to stabilize and possibly slightly recede in coming seasons, he's most-likely taking that kind of deal. It secures him through 2022 when he'll be 37. If he wants to keep his options open, he can take the smaller deals, something along the lines of a two-year, $61 million contract -- and man, just writing that is insane.
