This is when I get into the NBA. This same game could take place in January, Twitter would be all over it, and I'd be looking for what else is on TV...because it's January!

The season is too long, and most of it doesn't matter.

That's true in college as well.

Originally, the goal was to get close to the basket to increase your chances of scoring. Now it's like playing football where field goals beyond 40 yards are worth 8 points.

That 3 attempt by Lowery a few minutes ago was the prime example. Your opponent just hit a 3 to cut your lead to 3, so what happens? A mediocre, at best, shooter chucks one up on the other end. Just dumb.

Even worse when Lowry's most effective driving into the lane.
