Can't wait for the season to start! we're about 36 hours away! My Dad and I are going to a Buckeyes tavern for this game, I think we should control this game the whole way. Hopefully we can force some turnovers off their damn option. GO BUCKEYES lets kick some ass and bring on USC

Also at halftime, former Buckeye All-American linebacker and NFL All-Pro Chris Spielman will be recognized for the recent announcement of his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. Spielman, Ohio State's all-time leader in solo tackles, was an All-American for the Buckeyes in 1986 and '87. He will become the 28th Buckeye inducted into the HOF in July 2010.

For accuracy, I added the word 'solo' to the quote above from the official site. Spielman has the most unassisted, or solo, career tackles of any Buckeye. The record for total tackles (solo plus assists) is held by Marcus Marek.

I presume it was a reference to the fly-over. It's alumni band day, so I doubt they'll coordinate any special marching formations/tributes for this one.
