NASCAR Poll: Is it a sport?

So NASCAR got started (kinda) this past weekend. Simple question is NASCAR or any form of automotive racing a sport?

Bowling is questionable. Lean towards not a sport.

Horse racing is questionable. Lean towards sport.

Golf - If John Daly didn't exsist, I think I would have an argument.

Bowling - It's a game not a sport.

First rule of a sport - it must involve a ball. NASCAR - no ball. Not a sport. It is a competition. It may even be "sporting"

Golf, while having a ball, is also not a sport.... for the same reason bowling is not a sport. Nonathletic people can play it at a reasonably high level and there is no running involved. No running = not a sport.
