a) yeah they do have pants... which is a little bit gay, but is probably to prevent being able to rip upwards. Sounds like a great way to give someone a huge wedgie if you do get ahold of the jersey.

b) there's nothing wrong with resizing the width of stripes and altering the seams... that is inevitable to keep the jersey up to date style-wise.

When I looked at the jerseys I thought "maybe they'll look ok with someone actually wearing them". When I looked at the player pictures, they don't look that bad at first. If you look at them for a minute, though, they really are ugly. We should do a pre-emptive letter writing campaign to tOSU's athletic department and let them know not to make our players wear dogshit unis.
I don't know which are worse, scUM's or Missouri's.

That style of uniform wouldn't have to look very different than the current uniforms, IF they would just leave out the constrasting piping on the jerseys and the space age stripes on the pants.

Ohio State's current uniforms are a far cry from those of the past, as far as materials. The pants are silver and slicky, and the helmets are sparkly silver. They didn't used to be so silver, or slicky, but they are basically the same style as always.

Yes, and there are reasons why they were outlawed, with one of them being that the jerseys prevented any type of tackling of them...that was my point.
True, and the fact that Archie and co. were going through several every game. Quite expensive for any football program.

Pretty crappy system... most teams do not have white as their second color but want white as their number color... great work nike. Though I applaud them on keeping with their theme of the ugliest possible jerseys.

Somehow I don't think this will replace our current classic uniforms...

Stripes on the pants need to be a little bigger... overall I'd be okay with that if indeed there is a sizeable difference in performance (especially if it gives TSUN a big advantage in terms of evading arm tackles).

Anyone know when we got the curved seams that run from the armpit to the side of the neck? These are nike jerseys and that's a somewhat trendy seamline, so I'd be curious how old these are.

If Nike can make our jerseys look the same in terms of stripes and numbers but just have some different seamlines with the new fabric, I'm all for it.

See picture below for the trendy seamlines:
