Wow, someone sure is being defensive about this whole issue. Perhaps it is time to turn our conspiratorial gaze on MistriBuck. Perhaps he is Donny's fourth personality on these boards. After all, why defend a message board stranger with such passion.

OK, let's let the Donny/IITG discussion die. Or place them/him on ignore. There's enough evidence to suggest that they/him COULD be 2 different people. BTW, this has nothing to do with whatever evidence donny thinks proves his point. As far as I can tell, nothing he has said would prove there isn't one person at work here, but that doesn't mean there is only one person. IITG using one different IP (on occasion) that donny does not use, doesn't really mean anything. Checking their PMs isn't even possible, etc., etc. There is some other info. that shows up when you post that tends to support their/his contention, so lets just leave it at that. Several other folks have multiple usernames on BuckeyePlanet and we generally let it slide if they aren't abusing it in any way. We don't give THEM a hard time about it, so I suggest we do the same in this instance. Now if the thread just sucks, I think you'll just have to hear about it IITH/Djr. Can't really fault people for calling you out on that basis.

But, if these goofy posts start ending up on the other forums, there will be a problem. Understood IITH & Djr? And no one is getting banned either ... for now. A few people pull much worse crap that these goofy threads and haven't gotten the axe ... yet.

i realize your post was pretty much tongue-in-cheek so i'll keep the speech to a minimum............but the bottom line is it's is just plain stupid how people pile on donny.........seriously what has he ever done?.........as far as i can tell he never disrepects anybody or attacks anybody, even when provoked his attacks are lame half-ass attempts, you can tell it's not in his nature............so you find his posts to be annoying, you find his opinions to be "asinine", so be it, but what purpose does it serve to continually fucking bash the guy, and beat him down, when he is only here to try and have a good time and some camaraderie?..........feel like i'm around a bunch of grade school kids with insecurities.........obviously some of you need to do this to feel superior by continually reminding him how retarded you feel he is...........i'm not talking about the ones that joke around with him, but the ones that continually thrash him in a non-joking manner need to look in the mirror

That refers to me and a PM conversation. For once, I took the bait and gave the reaction he was seeking. I wasn't on the boards all day and then stumbled on this BS that is infecting the board. However, no excuses, I was wrong and I realize that. All of you know me well enough to know I wouldn't abuse Clarity's trust, so this situation is disappointing to me.

As annoying as these two can get, they have not broken any major rules yet...besides ding whining and that was addressed. If the rules are broken, they will be dealt with...until then, as the ever-calm 3yards said, put them on ignore.

I like goofing around with Donny, Tibor, etc. as much as anyone...but I think people may be taking it too seriously now. I can understand everyone being upset about him posting several "What is your favorite..." threads every day, but I think we are all guilty of starting a pointless thread about random aspects of our own lives that probably have less relevance than many of Donny's threads. The fact that Grad21 had to do a mega merge of threads ABOUT Donny should be an indication of how out of hand this is getting.

Tibor and Donny are great examples of guys that thrive on a little bit of attention and take all of our crap well (all things considered). I don't understand the problem with him posting under two names (if true) unless he is using it to ding people mulitple times or to work around a banning. I enjoy the mini-rivalries on this board (Mili-Tibs, BN27-Sloopy45, ExHawg-Donny), my problem with it all begins when a large group of people become obsessed with a single poster. It has a negative effect on the entire board.

I'm guilty of the same thing, so I'm not calling anyone out...I just have to wonder if the "quirky" personality of a poster is worth diluting the boards quality?
