The first walk-off grand slam in any World Series game.

Still waiting for somebody to hit a walk-off HR in Game 7 of the WS when his team was behind and with 2 outs, That would be the ultimate clutch hit, and it hadn’t happened yet. Nobody’s ever won the Series with a HR when an out would’ve ended it. I’m talking a 2-out walk-off when your team is behind, not when the game is tied.

Some writer asked Aaron Boone if the Yankees could come back, saying that only 1 team has ever “come back from a 3-0 deficit in a World Series”. Boone looked at him for a second, didn’t bother to correct the guy that the only 3-0 baseball comeback was the 2004 Boston-Yankees ALCS, and then said something about we just need to win tomorrow.
