Saw on Twitter (so it HAS to be true) that if the Yankees don't come back and then go on to win the World Series, it will be the first decade since the 1910's where they haven't won a championship.

And to that I say:

1983 - Orioles
1984 - Tigers
1985 - Royals
1986 - Mets
1987 - Twins
1988 - Dodgers
1989 - As
1990 - Reds @Jaxbuck

It will be the first time they didn't appear in the WS since then.
