So the Cards replaced Mikolas with an even bigger red-beared twat, some guy named Brebbia.

IDGAF how many WS they've won, rooting for the Cards would feel almost as disgusting as rooting for the Yankees.

Wash pitching dominating Stl. Clutch HR by Taylor and a huge 2 run double by Fredo U's own Adam Eaton give the Nats the 3 -1 win and a 2 games to 0 lead in series going back to wash with Strasburg on the mound

NYY at Hou tonight. If Hou gets game 1 with Greinke going then look out

The Yankees benefit so much from Houston's #1 starter Cole not pitching until Game 3. Verlander is great, but he also is prone to give up (mostly solo) homers and NYY has the hitters to make him pay for a mistake pitch at every spot in the lineup. I expect the Yankees to beat Houston in 5 or 6. Astros only win if the series goes 7.

Correa comes up huge both offensively and defensively for Hou last night. Series tied 1-1 headed to the Bronx

Can Stl steal one back tonight vs Strasburg? Tall task thats for sure especially since their offense has been MIA

ESPN betting analyst Michael Schwimer argued that Washington shouldn't start Strasburg tonight to make it highly likely that they win tomorrow instead of having two games that are close to 50-50 odds of winning. That argument seems all well and good if you ignore that Strasburg would have to be on short rest in a potential Game 7. Pretty dumb argument, TBH.

Nats up 4-0 after 3. Hopefully they are able to hold on. Potentially this would seem to be a back-breaking loss for St Louis with their ace Flaherty on the hill. Cards need to make a comeback in this game if they want to turn this into a competitive series.
